WB JECA (West Bengal Joint Entrance Computer Application) is a state level exam conducted by WBJEEB. JECA 2017 Registration has been closed. WB JECA 2017 Application forms were available from March 07, 2017 till March 28, 2017. The registration was held in online mode only, there is no any other way to fill application from. Applicants are required to pay application fee INR 500 while filling application form.
WB JECA 2017 Exam is scheduled for June 10, 2017. It is held in offline (Pen and paper based) mode. The registration begins from March 07, 2017 to March 28, 2017. JECA 2017 Registration is held via online mode only on the website www.wbjeeb.in.
JECA offers admission to MCA (Masters of Computer Application) course in 37 institutes across West Bengal. Total number of seats is decided by each participating institute and published by official website i.e. www.wbjeeb.in. The exam is divided into two papers Mathematics and Aptitude. Applicants have to attempt total 150 MCQs questions in the duration of 3 hours. Each question carries one mark and 0.25 mark deducted for every incorrect answer.

Applicants applying for WB JECA 2017 must fulfill the following educational criteria. As mentioned earlier, the eligibility criteria for each institute. Here’s a
Applicants must have three year Bachelor Degree with at least 60% marks from UGC/ AICTE recognized university. The minimum qualifying marks for general category is 50% and 45% for reserved category (SC/ ST) candidates.
Applicants also have to secure at least 60% marks in secondary and higher secondary or equal from any recognized board. Applicants must have 60% marks in mathematics at each level.
The aspirant must have minimum 3 years of Bachelor’s degree from UGC/ AICTE recognized, except BBA. Applicants must have mathematics as compulsory subject in 12th standard or graduation level.
They must have minimum 50% marks in graduation level. The authority provides relaxation of 5% marks for reserved categories (SC/ ST/ OBC - A/ OBC – B).
Graduation or equal degree in any discipline from UGC recognized university/ Institute. OR BE/ B.Tech/ BCA from any AICTE recognized university or institute. Applicant must have Mathematics as compulsory subject in graduation.
Minimum qualifying marks for general category is 60% marks and for reserved categories ((SC/ ST/ OBC - A/ OBC – B)) is 45% marks.
UGC recognized B.Sc degree in any discipline with 60% aggregate (45% for reserved category) and 55% aggregate in Mathematics. Aspirants must also secure 60% marks in 10, 10+2 level and Mathematics at each level.
There is “NO AGE LIMIT” for any candidate to apply for WB JECA 2017.
Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply for WB JECA 2017 Exam.
WB JECA Reservation is available for various categories namely SC/ ST category, OBC-A/ OBC-B category, PwD (Persons with Disabilities) Category. The related certificates should be uploaded at the time of WB JECA 2017 Registration and also produced for verification during the WB JECA Counselling. The exam is scheduled for June 10, 2017.
Applicants appearing for WB JECA 2017 must mention their correct category in the JECA Application Form to avail the advantage of reservation. The WB JECA 2017 Reservation can be claimed only by the candidates who possess domicile of West Bengal. WB JECA 2017 Reservation criteria is given below:
