CAPF Admit Card

CAPF Admit Card is expected to release on July 3, 2017. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is responsible for issuing the admit card of UPSC CAPF. All candidates who successfully complete CAPF Application Form will be eligible to download CAPF Admit Card online.

Here are some key points about CAPF Admit Card:

  • Candidates can download CAPF Admit Card by visiting the official website of UPSC i.e. upsc.gov.in.
  • They must enter their roll number/registration number and date of birth to access CAPF Admit Card.
  • No admit cards will be sent by post.
  • All candidates must not fail to carry the admit card of CAPF to the exam hall. Make sure all details on it are true and correct.
  • There are 41 UPSC CAPF Exam Centers where the exam will be held this year.

CAPF is set to be conducted on July 23, 2017. The is exam is held for candidates interested to be a part of central armed forces such as BSF, CISF, SSB, CRPF. Candidates who clear the written test will then proceed to interview/personality test. A separate CAPF Admit Card will be issued for the Personality Test round in December 2017. We advise you to retain your admit cards till your selection is confirmed.

How to Download CAPF Admit Card?

  • UPSC CAPF Admit Card is generally released three weeks before the commencement of the exam.
  • The admit card for UPSC CAPF 2017 can be downloaded in online mode only. No CAPF Admit Card will be sent by post.
  • There are three methods by which candidate can download his admit card (Registration ID, Roll number or Name). 

Below are the steps given to download CAPF Admit Card:

  1. Visit the official website of UPSC i.e. upsc.gov.in
  2. Click the link ‘Download UPSC CAPF Admit Card 2017’.
  3. You will be redirected to page with instructions, wherein you have to read them carefully and click on yes against the question ‘Have you read the instructions regarding the download of e-admit card?’ 
  4. Select the desired mode to download the admit card i.e. either through registration number or roll number or by name.
  5. Enter Registration ID/ Roll Number/ Name in the provided blank field and then mention the date of birth.
  6. After that, CAPF Admit Card will appear on screen. Verify the information mentioned on the admit card of UPSC CAPF
  7. If the information is correct, print multiple copies of CAPF Admit Card.

CAPF Hall Ticket will indicate the following details. Make sure all the details are true and incorrect. Problems in Downloading CAPF Admit Card

A candidate may be unable to download the Admit Card of CAPF due to the below reasons. 

  1. If application form is incomplete
  2. Low internet speed
  3. Entering incorrect credentials
  4. If the last date to download admit card has passed

How To Retrieve Password for UPSC CAPF?

Candidates can easily retrieve their password for UPSC CAPF by following these simple instructions. They will find this option on the official website only.

  1. Visit the official website of UPSC i.e. upsc.gov.in
  2. Click on Forget ‘Password’
  3. Enter the application number and click on ‘Get Password’
  4. The password will be sent to the e-mail ID and registered mobile number of the candidates.

Discrepancy in CAPF Admit Card

If a candidate fails to get his CAPF Admit card three weeks before the commencement of the exam, he shall contact the commission immediately. Candidates must report to the commission all the discrepancies or problems related to CAPF Admit Card in time to make sure they are solved soon. 

If the discrepancies are not communicated to the Commission’s office by the candidate, cancellation of candidature will be solely their responsibility. It is very important to carry CAPF admit card to the allotted UPSC CAPF Exam Center. Without it, candidate will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

The communications to the Union Public Services Commission must contain the information given below:

  • Name and year of examination
  • Registration ID
  • Roll number (if received any)
  • Name of the candidate (in block letters)
  • Complete postal address (as filled in the application form)
  • Valid and active email ID

Candidate who fails to communicate all the above mentioned details to the commission will not be entertained. Also, candidate must secure a copy of CAPF application form for future references.

Instructions on UPSC CAPF Admit Card

Before a candidate downloads his CAPF admit card, there are certain instructions that are laid down before him. These must be carefully read and adhered to. The set of instructions include following points:

  • Candidate must carefully go through all the details mentioned in the CAPF Admit card. In case there are any discrepancies, candidate must immediately contact the commission.
  • Mention candidate’s Name, Roll Number, Registration ID and Exam Name and Year in all the correspondence with the Commission.
  • It is important to carry CAPF admit card in each session to get entry into the examination hall.
  • Candidate must keep the CAPF admit card safely, any misuse of it shall be candidate’s responsibility.
  • Candidate must enter the examination hall 20 minutes before CAPF is commenced.
  • Answer sheet of the candidate will be rejected in case the details like roll number, test booklet series, etc. are filled incorrectly.
  • Candidate shall not be permitted to enter in the examination hall after 10 minutes of commencement of the UPSC CAPF exam.
  • Read carefully the ‘Special Instructions for candidates admitted to the examination’ given in ‘Rules for the Examination’ available in Examination Notice and ‘Poster’ comprising instructions displayed outside the exam hall.
  • The candidature of the candidate is provisional in the examination.
  • If a candidate is found to be using/keeping mobile phones, calculators or any other gadgets along with him/her, disciplinary action will be taken in such case.
  • In objective type multiple choice questions, there will be negative marking for every wrong answer.
  • Candidate must only use black ball point pen to mark correct answers.
  • Candidate must not carry any valuable with him, only a photo identity proof, like Aadhar Card, Driving License, Passport, Voter I-Card, and two passport-size photographs must be carried.
  • Orthopedically or Visually Impaired candidates, who have opted for their own scribe, will get their own scribe permitted for the CAPF exam only with a separate e-Admit Card for the scribe.

UPSC CAPF 2017 Exam Centers

  • UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) has made available 41 exam centers across the country.
  • Applicants have the choice of choosing their desired UPSC CAPF Exam Centers at the time of form-filling.
  • The last date to submit CAPF Online Form was May 05, 2017. However, UPSC holds all the right to allot an UPSC CAPF Exam Center other than one selected by a candidate.
  • The Exam Centers are allotted to candidate on first-come-first-serve basis i.e. only a fixed number of candidates can appear for the CAPF AC at a particular CAPF Exam Center.
  • No request for change of UPSC CAPF Exam Centers will be entertained at any cost.

CAPF Admit Card FAQs

Ques. I have misplaced my admit card. Can I still appear for the exam?

Ans. No, entry to the hall exam will be permitted only if you present your CAPF Admit Card, along with a valid photo ID card. Failure to present these will lead to inability to sit for the exam.

Ques. Is my photo not clear on my admit card? What should I do?

Ans. Don't worry! Make sure you present a valid photo ID card while sitting for the exam.

Ques. What should I do if there is lot of delay in accessing the admit card page?

Ans.The delay in accessing the Page depends upon various factors like Internet Speed, large number of applicants trying to register the application at the same time etc. Therefore, if you are not able to get the page for registration promptly, please retry after some time or during off-peak hours.

Ques. How will the communications regarding admit card be made by UPSC?

Ans. In case of an important message, candidates will receive a mail regarding CAPF admit card on their registered email id by UPSC. So, make sure the id you provide in your application form is correct and working.

Ques. What items are prohibitted in the exam hall?

Ans. Mobile phones, pagers, Bluetooth or any other communication devices are not allowed inside the premises where the examination is being conducted. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action including ban from future examinations.
