NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
SSC CGL Reservation is offered to reserved category candidates, wishing to apply for the Combined Graduate Level Test (CGL). SSC CGL is a gateway for recruitment to Group B and Group C posts in various ministries, government departments, and offices across the country.
Only those applicants, who fulfill the complete SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria, will be considered for recruitment by the Staff Selection Commission. The registration for the recruitment exam concluded on June 19, 2017. Now, the examinations will commence from the first week of August 2017.

The educational qualification required for various posts is tabulated below:
|Assistant Audit Officer||Bachelor’s Degree Additional Qualifications include Chartered Accountant/ Cost & Management Accountant/ Company Secretary/ Masters in Commerce/ Masters in Business Studies/ Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics.|

Upper Age Limit for Central Government Civilian Employees:
Central Government Civilian Employees who have rendered not less than 3 years of regular, continuous service as on closing date for receipt of application are eligible for age relaxation in SSC CGL.

Q1: What is SSC CGL?

Ans: Yes, you can apply for SSC CGL provided you do not want to apply for the post of Examiner, Preventive Officer, Excise Inspector, Sub Inspector in CBI and NIA, and Inspector CBN as these posts require you to pass the colour-blindness test.

Ans: Yes, Physically handicapped candidates get the reservation in some of the posts. Physically handicapped candidates in General category gets 10 years, OBC gets 13 years, and SC/ST candidates get 15 years relaxation in upper age limit.

Ans: No, there is no special reservation for candidates from J&K, unless they belong to reserved category. However, they are given age relaxation in the Upper age limit.

Ans: Candidates who had been domiciled ordinarily in the State of Jammu & Kashmir are given age relaxation as 5 years for General Category, 8 years for OBC candidates, and 10 years for SC/ST category candidates.

Ans: No, Cutoff for each category is different as per the rules and regulations stipulated by Government of India.
