OJEE 2017 Application Form

OJEE Application form for all courses is now available on the official website. OJEE Registration will now end by March 26, 2017. The OJEE 2017 Application Process is a four step process namely Registration and Form Filling, Uploading the Documents, Paying the application fee (as per the form type) and Submission.

Candidates have to mention OJEE Courses and Codes in the OJEE 2017 Application Form. Also, the information mentioned during the OJEE Registration will cannot be edited under any circumstances. 

The Application Fee for OJEE 2017 Form A, B, C, D and F is INR 1000 and for the Form E is INR 1500. The Application fee can be filled in either online or offline mode. The OJEE Admit Card can be downloaded from the official website from April 20, 2017 onwards.

OJEE 2017 Application Dates

The candidates who wish to apply for OJEE can apply now for the exam by registering online. OJEE Online Applications must be submitted by March 25, 2017 All the important events related to the OJEE 2017 Application Process are mentioned in the table given below:

OJEE 2017 Eligibility

There are different guidelines for OJEE 2017 Eligibility for each course. The minimum percentage age requirement and qualifying marks vary with the course in OJEE 2017. The candidate must check the OJEE Eligibility before filling the OJEE 2017 Application form.

For UG Courses like Pharmacy or BHMS/BAMS, the candidate must have passed Class XII examination of CHSE (Council of Higher Secondary Education) or any equivalent examination. The minimum age of the candidate is 17 years while there is no specified upper age limit.

For Lateral Entry courses, the candidate must be appearing or must have passed Diploma or degree program in the required discipline from a recognized University. There is no specified age requirements mentioned by OJEE Board for these courses.

For admissions to PG courses, candidates must have passed the Bachelor’s degree in the related discipline from an institute approve by AICTE or UGC. The minimum age required to apply for the PG courses through OJEE 2017 is 21 years. There is no specified upper age limit.

Types of OJEE 2017 Application Form

The candidates are required to choose the correct OJEE 2017 Application Form type. Candidates must also enter the proper Centre code for the choices entered (3 choices) as given for each of the OJEE 2017 Exam Centre. Candidates with a valid GATE Score are exempted from applying through the online process of OJEE 2017. They can apply for the counselling process directly. How to fill OJEE 2017 Application Form?

The OJEE 2017 Application Form can be filled in online mode only. There are four basic steps followed for the OJEE 2017 Application Process namely Registration and Form Filling, Uploading Images, Fee Payment and Submission of the OJEE 2017 Application Form. The steps to fill the OJEE 2017 Application Form are explained below:

Step 1. Registration and Form Filling

OJEE Registration has now begun on the official website. The candidates must carefully choose the form type to register and fill the OJEE 2017 Application Form. The steps carried out for registration and filling the form are mentioned below:

  • Open up the link for the official website. Download the OJEE 2017 Information Brochure and read it carefully. After reading the Information Brochure.
  • Click on the link ‘Online Student Registration System’ and open ‘Odisha Joint Entrance Examination-2017’
  • Check different application forms (Form A-F) available and choose the correct form type. After that, click on Apply.

OJEE Application Form

  • Read all the instructions given and click on ‘Click on Proceed’.
  • Fill the personal details asked such as Candidate’s Name, Parents’ Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Nationality etc.

OJEE Application Form

  • Choose your preference of exam centers (3 choices). The test center will be allocated by OJEE Board and given on the OJEE Admit Card. Also mention the communication details such as Address (complete address, district, state), pin code, mobile number and e-mail ID.

OJEE Application Form

  • Choose a password and confirm the same. The password must have atleast one alphabet in upper case and lower case. It must also contain atleast one numeric value and special character.
  • Set up a security question and answer the same. Also, enter the security pin given and click on Submit.

OJEE Application Form

  • Note down the application number/registration number after submission. 
  • After generation of password and registration, the candidate can login again to carry out the steps that follow to fill the OJEE Application Form.

If the candidate wishes to change any information in the OJEE 2017 Application Form, it can only be done before submission. The candidate needs to click on the “Reset” button and fill the OJEE 2017 Application Form correctly.

Step 2. Uploading Images

The next step after filling the OJEE 2017 Application form is uploading the passport size photograph of the candidate, signature of the candidate and left-hand thumb impression of the candidate. The specifications and steps to upload the images is given below:

  • Login using the registration number and password provided during the registration process.
  • Click on the empty space to upload the photograph in JPEG format (5Kb-99Kb). The dimension of the photograph is 3.5cm x 4.5cm
  • The name of the candidate must be mentioned on the photograph.
  • Click on the empty space to upload the image of the signature in JPEG format (5Kb-50 Kb). The dimension of the signature must be 3.5cm x 1.5cm
  • The signature must be done on a white sheet of paper with blue/black ballpoint pen.
  • Click on the empty space to upload the image of the left-hand thumb impression in JPEG format (5Kb-50 Kb). The dimensions of the left-hand thumb impression must be 3.5cm x 1.5cm
  • The thumb impression must be done on a white sheet of paper and must be clear.

Step 3. Fee Payment

After uploading the images of the required documents, the candidates are required to pay the correct amount of fee according to the form chosen. The candidates can pay the fee by either online mode or offline mode. The steps followed to pay the fee are mentioned below:

Online Mode

If you choose the online payment mode, steps for the online payment are mentioned below:

  • Open the official website of the OJEE.
  • Login by filling the details asked correctly i.e. the registration ID and password.
  • Select the payment mode i.e. online payment
  • Click on payment gateway i.e. credit card/debit card/net banking
  • Fill the asked credentials correctly i.e. the card number/customer ID
  • Verify the details and Click on Pay Now.

Offline Mode

  • Post-filling the OJEE 2017 Application Form, download the format of the e-challan given on the official website.
  • Fill the details of the candidate in the e-challan.
  • Submit the fee along with the bank copy of the e-challan in any branch of State Bank of India.
  • Retain the student’s copy of the challan for personal reference.

Step 4. Submission and Confirmation Page

  • After successful submission of the application fee, login using the registration ID and Password.
  • Login 2 days after paying the fee as the fee is processed within 2 working days.
  • The confirmation page with the submitted form appears on the screen.
  • Print the form for personal reference. Don’t post the hard copy of the confirmation page.

In case, the candidate is unable to print the confirmation page then he/she must contact the OJEE cell for a clarification. The candidate can’t withdraw the application or candidature after submission of the OJEE 2017 Application Form.
