NMAT by GMAC Registration 2018: Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) will release NMAT Application Form 2018 in the first week of July. The registration for NMAT by GMAC is completely online (nmat.org.in). Candidates with 50% marks in Graduation can apply for NMAT by GMAC

NMAT by GMAC 2018 Registration involves 3 main steps- Registration, Filling Application Form and Fee Payment. The application fee is INR 1800 for all candidates. It can be paid in online or offline mode.

GMAC will release NMAT 2018 Admit Card for successfully registered candidates in the first week of October. They will appear for NMAT by GMAC 2018 between October- December. Nearly 90,000 candidates are expected to apply this year.

Latest Update: This year onwards, candidates can choose to login using Facebook, Google+ and OTP.

Are You Eligible to Apply?

Given below are the eligibility conditions that a candidate must satisfy:

  • Nationality- Both Indian and NRI candidates can apply
  • Minimum Qualification- 50% marks in Graduation; appearing candidates can also apply
  • Age- Upper age limit is 25 years
  • Work Experience of two or more years after graduation is favored

NOTENMAT by GMAC Eligibility Criteria may hold separate conditions as per alloted college.


How to Fill NMAT by GMAC Application Form 2018?

To fill NMAT by GMAC 2018 Application Form, candidates must follow the following simple steps:

Step 1: Registration

Fresh candidates applying for the exam are required to register with a fresh email id and contact number at the website using the mentioned steps.

  1. Go to the official website of NMAT by GMAC i.e. www.nmat.org.in
  2. Click on “New User” tab to get the registration form.
  3. After email id gets registered, login again to complete the registration process.
  4. When you logged in, you will finally land up on the page where you need to fill all the required details for the registration process.
  5. Enter the required details and press submit.
  6. The system will auto-generate a registration number and mail the same at your registered email id and contact number for documentation and verification.

Step 2: Form Filling

This is the step where you actually provide all the details that create your profile for the test. It helps the authorities judge your eligibility, your medical standards, previous educational qualifications and other important details.

  • Once registration process gets completed, check their mail id to get the password.
  • Relogin as a registered user by entering registered id and password.
  • Fill all the required information in NMAT application form carefully.
  • Note down the application number.
  • Once completing NMAT by GMAC Registration, select the slot for the exam in schedule/reschedule exam category. 

Step 3: Uploading Images

This is the final step in creating a profile for the exam. Photograph and signature should be scanned and uploaded and thus one can be easily identified and thus it makes the process smooth.

  • Upload the scanned images.
  • Select the mode of payment to pay the application fee.
  • Take a print out of application form & keep it safe for further process.
  • Retain the registered email id and mobile number till the admission process gets completed.

Step 4: Pay Application Fee

The registration fee can be remitted online (net banking facility or credit card/debit card) as well as offline (demand draft). The amount of various services is given below:

NOTE: 
  1. Candidates are required to visit respective university/college/school website for details of their admission procedure. You have to submit their respective form separately.
  2. You will be allowed to take NMAT a maximum of three times during the year’s testing period. This includes the first attempt plus a maximum of two retake attempts.
  3. Up to 5 programmes/schools are included in your registration fee. If you wish to apply to more than five (5) programmes/schools a fee of INR 200 plus applicable taxes will be charged for each additional programme/school.

NMAT by GMAC 2018 Application Form Correction

NMAT by GMAC form correction option is expected to be available from the last week of July 2018. The window for editing mistakes in NMAT by GMAC 2018 Application Form will stay live until the 2nd week of December 2018. Facility for correction of mistakes will be available for students who have completed the online application process in all aspects i.e. Paid Examination Fee and Submitted Online.

All Students must note that they can change all data in NMAT by GMAC 2018 Application Form Except- Email ID, Mobile Number, Date of Birth and Address Details.

Steps for NMAT Application Form Correction

  1. Visit the official website of NMAT 2018

  2. Click on ‘Form Correction’ link on the homepage

  3. Enter your username and password

  4. Edit the required fields

  5. Sava your corrected form


NMAT by GMAC 2018 Scheduling Process

Candidates who have paid the registration fee will receive a Username and Password within 24 hours on the registered email id. They can then begin scheduling their preferred time slot, date, and centre of examination from the given options. The scheduling for NMAT by GMAC 2018 is done on first come first serve basis. It is expected to begin from the first week of July.

Candidates are provided the option of scheduling one test attempt at a time. Once the scheduling is done, candidates receive a confirmation email from person VUE intimating the details of NMAT by GMAC 2018 exam. 7. Do I need to send the hard copy of application form attached with documents?
