NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
The exam dates for GATE 2017 are out. It will be conducted in online mode on February 4, 5, 11 & 12, 2017. Electrical engineering is one of the most popular engineering stream. This stream deals with the science and technology behind various electrical devices and systems. The scope for this stream is very vast ranging from huge power stations to industries engaged in manufacturing of small micro or mini chips.
This article deals with the syllabus and important topics that the candidates need to focus for scoring well in the EE paper. The syllabus for EE GATE 2017 exam is primarily divided into 10 sections which are revised from time to time. It will include topics from Mathematics, Aptitude, and reasoning, etc. The detailed syllabus is as follows:

GATE 2017 for Electrical Engineering will be held in February in two sessions. Exam is divided into 11 sections and a section of General Aptitude is also present. There are 30 questions carrying 1-mark and 35 questions carrying 2- marks. The details are given below:

PSU’s (Public Sector Undertakings) are Government firms usually owned by Union Government of India or State Government.
