NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
GATE Cutoff is the minimum score required for getting admissions to M.Tech programs across IITs and NITs. GATE Cutoff will vary from institute to institute. The cutoff marks determine whether the students get qualified or not for the exam. GATE 2017 Cutoff for CSE will be declared by IIT Roorkee along with GATE 2017 result. The result for GATE exam will be declared on March 27, 2017. In this article, we are discussing the previous year category wise cutoff for different IITs.
GATE exam for CSE is to be held on February 11, 2017. GATE 2017 expected cutoff vary according to the categories. The marks for general category is higher as compared to others. Check the following table for cutoff to get a fair idea of the score they need to obtain to apply for M.Tech admissions.

Total 15,207 candidates were qualified for GATE 2016 exam. The following cutoff marks will help to estimate the marks according to which candidates can target the preparation to qualify in the GATE 2017 exam.

In nearly, total 1.5 lakhs of candidates appeared for GATE 2015 exam. The minimum qualifying marks to qualify in GATE exam for all the category is as follow:
The admissions in IITs will be done through written test and personal interview conducted by IITs. IIT Kanpur releases their cutoff after the written test and interview separately for direct admissions in M.Tech course. Here, we are providing the cutoff marks at IIT Kanpur for both rounds.

Candidates should have obtained at least 60% of marks in B.Tech to be apply for IIT Delhi admission process. Check the following category wise cutoff marks at IIT Delhi:

IIT Kharagpur cutoff goes higher than other IITs for Computer Science Engineering. It releases separate cutoff marks for different categories as mentioned below:

IIT Madras has different criteria for the candidates studying in IITs should have obtained at least 8.0 of CGPA. Non- IITs candidates must have obtained at least 70% of marks. Relaxation of 5% in marks will be given to the reserved category candidates as mentioned below:
