NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
IGNOU 2017 B.Ed Entrance is tentatively scheduled for the first Sunday in the month of August. Candidates can apply for IGNOU B.Ed Entrance in both online and offline mode. The B.Ed program by IGNOU is offered in ODL (Open and Distance Learning Mode) and aimed at inculcating skills, methods and theoretical understanding of teaching to both aspiring and in-service teachers.
Candidates should ensure that they keep a copy of the duly filled application form along with them which they may be required to furnish at later stages of the admission procedure. The online mode application process is definitely more secure since there is always risk of delay or loss in transit if candidates apply via post.
IGNOU Application form is currently available for the July session. The application form is available in both online and offline. Candidates who wish to fill the form offline need to buy it along with the prospectus from the Regional Centre and submit the filled application form to their nearest regional center along with a demand draft of INR 1000/-.
Alternately, they can also download the Entrance cum Application form from the official website. Candidates applying in the online mode need to pay the fees through net banking, credit card and debit card. The tentative schedule for IGNOU B.Ed 2017 July Session is indicated in the table below.

IGNOU has prescribed certain eligibility criteria that candidates should fulfill prior to applying online
The provision of reservation of seats for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Non-creamy layer of OBC, War Widows, Kashmiri Migrants and Physically Handicapped learners in IGNOU B.Ed Program is provided as per the Government of India rules.
NOTE: Masters’ Degree awarded without a first degree is not accepted for purpose of academic studies at IGNOU.
Candidates are required to submit the filled-in IGNOU B.Ed 2017 Application Form along with attested copy of documents as specified in Entrance-cum-Admission Form before or on May 2017.
Note - No change of category code shall be entertained from the candidate after submission of Entrance cum Admission Form
Pay fees: Pay your Programme fee through debit/credit card (Master/Visa/Rupay) and Net banking:
Payment by Debit/Credit Card (Master/Visa/Rupay): You have to select Debit/Credit Card option to pay the programme fee and follow the online instruction to complete the payment of fee. After successful payment, you will be able to print/save the payment confirmation slip.
Payment by ATM Card (PNB)
Note: Remember to take out a print of the duly filled application form and preserve it for future reference after successful payment of fee.

The application fee to be paid along with IGNOU B.Ed 2017 Application Form would vary according to the mode candidates have opted for applying. Fee can be remitted via both online (Net banking/Credit/Debit Card) and offline (demand draft drawn on ‘IGNOU’, payable at city where the center is located).
