NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE/OFFLINE TEST

SSC CHSL Tier 1 January 10, 2017 Paper Analysis

SSC CHSL Tier 1 began on January 7, 2017. This online mode examination is conducting in multiple sessions across the country. There were 4 sections in SSC CHSL tier 1 exam with a total of 100 multiple choice questions. Aspirants can check SSC CHSL Tier 1 January 10, 2017 paper analysis to know the weightage, difficulty level of SSC CHSL 2016, exam pattern and overall & section wise good attempts of the candidates.  

The total questions comprised of General intelligence, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language. Candidates having their SSC CHSL exam on other days can get an idea of the exam as the pattern has some major changes this year. The time duration for online examination is 75 minutes. 2 marks will be awarded for every correct response and ½ marks will be deducted for every incorrect response. SSC CHSL 2016 Paper Analysis

SSC CHSL 2016 Tier 1 held on January 10, 2017 and it was marked of moderate level. The good attempt in overall test is 75-80 questions. With questions from topics spanning nearly all of the topics, SSC CHSL 2016 maintained an overall easy to moderate level. MCQs were asked from previous year SSC CHSL exam pattern. SSC CHSL 2016: General Intelligence

General Intelligence is the scoring section of the candidates and this time also it proved. Most of the questions in SSC CHSL 2016 Tier 1 General Intelligence section were of easy level. The questions were asked from the topics included series, coding-decoding, order & ranking and data sufficiency, etc. The analysis is depicted in the following table:

General Awareness is easy when you’re sure about your answers. This time, level of questions in this section varied from easy to moderate. This section included the questions from current affairs, polity, general science, history etc. Level of difficulty of other sections is mentioned in the following table:

SSC CHSL 2016: Quantitative Aptitude

The level of difficulty of quantitative aptitude section was marked easy to moderate. The good attempts of number of questions is 19-21. Questions based on DI and Mensuration were marked easy while other questions were moderate to solve. The good attempts show the section was not that moderate to solve. SSC CHSL 2016: English Language

According to the analysis of SSC CHSL tier 1, English language section is marked of moderate level. The best attempt in this section is 19-21. However, there were topics such as para jumbles, cloze test, narration and sentence correction which were easy to solve and less time consuming. The overall analysis is as follows-

SSC CHSL 2016 Expected Cut-Off

Around 2 lac candidates are enrolled for SSC CHSL 2016 tier 1 exam and for the first time it is being conducted in online mode. The level of difficulty for SSC CHSL 2016 tier 1 is marked moderate in terms of difficulty level. It is expected that the SSC CHSL 2016 tier 1 cut-off will go higher than previous year.
