NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE/OFFLINE TEST
SSC CHSL 2018 Application Form will be available tentatively in the month of August. The application process begins after SSC releases the official notification for CHSL exam.
Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) is one of the top level examinations in India conducted by SSC. SSC (Staff Selection Commission) conducts Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Exam every year to recruit eligible candidates for the post of Lower Division Clerk (LDC) and Data Entry Operators (DEO).
The examination is conducted in 2 parts. Part I is held held in the month of November-December and part II in the month of March-April. The candidates of Part I are invited to attend Part II.

The posts offered by SSC CHSL 2018 are DEO (Data Entry Officers), LDC (Lower Division Clerk), Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant,and Court Clerks.
SSC CHSL 2018 requires the candidates to fulfill the following eligibility criteria to appear in the exam
Educational Qualifications - Candidates applying for SSC CHSL 2018 Application Form should cleared 12th or its equivalent education from any recognized School/ University.
Age Limit - Candidates applying for the above mentioned posts in SSC CHSL 2018 must be more than 18 years of age and less than 27 years as on date 01/01/2019 (Candidates born not before 02-01-1990 and not later than 01-01-1999).
However, age relaxation is applicable for some categories. The chart below describes the relaxation details

The candidates can apply for SSC CHSL 2018 through both online or offline mode. Candidates must go through the eligibility criteria before they start application procedure.
Online Mode - The candidates can apply through online mode on the official website http://ssc.online.nic.in OR http://ssconline2.gov.in. For offline mode of application, candidates should submit their applications in prescribed format only.
Online mode of application- For online mode, the applicants have to go to the official website of SSC. They are required to upload the scanned images of their photograph and signature.
Applicants must be very careful while filling the application form. So here is a step-wise guide to avoid mistakes in the form-filling.
Offline mode of application - Candidates can obtain application forms from the sale centres, prescribed offices or by post. The candidates must send the required documents along with duly filled application form to SSC on or before last date.

Applicants have to register separately for Part II of the exam and it should be done online. The candidates must follow the below mentioned steps for registration
After filling-in the required details and uploading the documents, candidates must submit the application fees
For online applications - For online mode, the candidates can pay either through SBI bank challan (challan can be downloaded, printed & submitted at any CBS branch of SBI) or net banking. Nominal service charges may be levied in net banking mode of payment.
For offline applications - Candidates have to pay Rs. 100 as application fee through CRF stamps. The stamp has to be cancelled before applying it on the form, otherwise the application will not be accepted.
The application fee is exempted for female candidates and all the reserved category candidates.
