NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
IBPS has declared the IBPS Clerk 2016 Mains. Candidates can check IBPS Clerk result 2016 by entering their Roll Number or Registration Number and Date of Birth or Password. IBPS Clerk 2016 mains exam was conducted on January 1, 2017. The results will be available for viewing until June 30. IBPS has also issued write-up about the results, which can be checked on the official website.
IBPS 2016 CWE Clerks VI will be conducted for recruitment of around 19, 243 clerical cadre posts in 20 public sector banks in India. IBPS Clerk result 2016 of mains exam will be declared only for those candidates who have secured subject wise as well as overall passing marks as per their category in Reasoning ability, English language, General awareness, Quantitative aptitude and Computer Knowledge sections.
The total marks allotted for IBPS Clerk 2016 mains exam are 200. The marks secured by candidates will be converted out of 100 for Provisional Allotment. The marks secured by candidates in IBPS Clerk 2016 mains exam and the list of candidates selected for provisional allotment will be announced together in April 2017.
According to IBPS, no interviews will be conducted for IBPS Clerks 2016 recruitment exam and candidates will be selected on the basis of their score secured in mains exam. As per the notification, 100% weightage will be given to the score obtained by the candidate in the online main examination while preparing the IBPS clerk merit list for allotment of banks.
The result will be available online at the official website of IBPS. To check the result, the candidates can follow the following steps:
1. Visit the official website of IBPS i.e. www.ibps.in
2. Click on the link “Click here to View your Result of Main Examination for CWE-Clerks-VI”
3. The next webpage will get open, click on View your Result of Main Examination for CWE-Clerk-VI
4. Enter the details required: Registration Number/ Roll Number and Password/ DOB.
5. Enter the captcha code and click on login tab.
6. Next, IBPS Clerk Result Status will be displayed on the screen.
7. Download and take a print out of IBPS Clerk Main Result for future reference.

The examination authority adopts following procedure to calculate score of candidates in IBPS Clerk Exam.
Total weighted Score of IBPS Clerk 2016 will be arrived by following process:
Total Weighted Score = Scores obtained in Reasoning * 1.25 + English Language * 1.00 + Computer Knowledge * 0.50 + General Awareness * 1.00 + Quantitative Aptitude * 1.25
A total of 19, 243 candidates will be selected for clerical posts based on IBPS Clerk result 2016. The available vacancy is distributed among 19 publish sector banks in 36 states/union territories.
