Indian Institute of Science releases the KVPY Result 2019 on its official website in December 2019, soon after the exam is conducted. KVPY Result is announced in the form of scorecard and only soft copy is available. Candidates need to enter their date of birth and application number in the results portal.

How to Check KVPY 2019 Result?

Indian Institute of Science will announce KVPY 2019 Result in December 2019 and further process are also carried by the body. Candidates can check their result by filling in their details on the official website of KVPY. Here are the steps to help you check it-

• Log onto the official website of Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana, i.e. www.kvpy.iisc.ernet.in
• Click on the results option from the panel above.
• You will be redirected to the results portal.
• Fill in your Application Number and Date of Birth in DD-MM-YYYY format

KVPY 2019 Cut Off

KVPY 2019 Cut Off will be announced soon after the declaration of result by the admission committee. It will consist of the closing ranks or scores that the candidates will have to secure to be eligible for the further procedure. Those applicants who do not meet the cut off will not be allowed to participate further in the fellowship process.

KVPY 2019 Merit List

KVPY 2019 Merit List will be announced online right after the announcement of the results. Only those applicants who find their names in the merit list will be called in for KVPY Counselling. Ineligible applicants will be disqualified from participating in the exam.

Candidates must successfully qualify KVPY 2019 exam to be eligible for counselling and seat allotment.

• The merit list will be announced online on the official site of KVPY.
• Merit list will be generated on the basis of marks scored by the candidate in the KVPY 2019 entrance exam.
• Candidates must qualify the exam to have their names in merit list.
• Candidates who meet the cut off criteria will be shown in the merit list and will be eligible to participate in the further admission process.
• Shortlisted candidates who will qualify the aptitude test will be then called for the interview, candidates who get through with the interview will be having their names in the merit list.
• Candidates are required to have all the documents which are required for the admission for verification.

KVPY 2019 Counselling

Candidates are first required to download their call letters which are available on the official website of KVPY for the personal Interview and aptitude test scheduled between January-February 2020.

Candidates must bring the following documents along with them on the day of their interview:

• Application form and Interview call letter (Download from Application portal using your login credentials)
• Admit card of Aptitude test.
• Original Marks card. (10th Marks card for Stream SA/SX and 12th for Stream SB)
• Caste certificate for SC/ST candidates issued by the Competent Authority.
• Medical certificate from competent authority in case of physically and visually challenged students in the prescribed format (As per GOI)
• A Self-Appraisal form.
• Study certificate form. (to be obtained from your Principal/Head of the Institution where you are currently pursuing your studies)
• Teacher Recommendation Form. (in Sealed envelope)

KVPY 2019 Selection Procedure

KVPY 2019 Selection Procedure will commence soon after the announcement of KVPY Result. After the selection of candidates in KVPY 2019, candidates will be able to avail scholarship. The selection procedure for the same is given below: -

• Candidates will be called for selection process on the basis of their performance in the aptitude test. It will also include an interview round.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview round on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam.
• The interview round will be held in January 2020. Candidates will be informed about interview dates, time & venue through email or website.
• After the successful completion of the aptitude test & personal interview round, the scholarship will be offered to the selected candidates.
