KU CAT 2018 will be conducted tentatively in July, 2018. KU CAT (Kerala University Common Admission Test) is conducted by the Kerala University every year through which deserving candidates get admission into the MBA (Full time) and MBA (Tourism-Full Time) programs at the Institute of Management in Kerala (IMK), Kariavattom. KU CAT 2018 is a university level entrance examination.
It is a well-known fact that IMK is one of the best business schools of India where plenty of students aspire to study MBA. Apart from IMK, qualified candidates can also get admission at the University Institutes of Management (UIM) of Kerala University.
Candidates interested in appearing for KU CAT 2018 must know all the important exam dates so that they can apply for the examination on time. The important exam dates of KU CAT 2018 are listed in the table below:

Candidates must note that this is just the tentative schedule of KU CAT 2018. The Kerala University has not yet announced the official dates for the entrance examination. Therefore, candidates are recommended to keep checking the website of the Kerala University (www.admissions.keralauniversity.ac.in) to stay updated on all news related to the examination.
Candidates who wish to appear for KU CAT 2018 must know the eligibility criteria of the entrance examination. Candidates must ensure that they satisfy all the eligibility conditions before applying for it. Application forms of ineligible candidates will be rejected by the Kerala University. Therefore, candidates must carefully read the eligibility criteria.

Candidates who fulfill the eligibility conditions of KU CAT 2018 can register themselves online at the official website of the Kerala University. Candidates need to follow some instructions for registering themselves successfully. Candidates must ensure that they submit KU CAT 2018 Application Form on time because the Kerala University will not accept any forms after the last date.

The registration fee is INR 500. Candidates can also make the payment through demand draft. The demand draft must be made in favor of “The Finance Officer, Kerala University” from SBT that should be payable at KUOC campus or from Cooperative banks that should be payable at Trivandrum.
Candidates must send the duly filled application form to the Professor and Head of the Institute of Management in Kerala, Kerala University, Kariavattom, Thiruvananthapuram-695581 on or before the last week of June, 2018. Candidates must enter a valid email ID and mobile number during the registration process because the Kerala University will communicate them through SMS or email.
KU CAT 2018 Admit Card will be issued by Kerala University to eligible candidates who have applied for the entrance examination. Admit card is that mandatory document without which candidates are not permitted to sit for the entrance examination. Candidates who have submitted the application form on time can download the admit card from the official website of the university.
Candidates need to keep their KU CAT 2018 Admit Card safely with them after examination as it will be needed again during counselling. The steps to download KU CAT 2018 admit card is as follows:

Candidates are advised to verify all the information printed on their KU CAT 2018 Admit Card. If they find any issue or discrepancy, they should immediately get it corrected by the concerned authority. Candidates must read carefully the instructions for the exam so that they don’t face any problems at the exam center. Candidates need to carry their KU CAT 2018 Admit Card to the exam center on the day of examination along with a document that will authenticate their identity, such as Voter ID Card, PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, etc.
There are three exam centers for KU CAT 2018. The name and address of the exam center will be written on the admit card of candidates. Once the exam center is allotted by the Kerala University, it will not be altered. Candidates are required to report to the allotted exam center on the day of the examination at least 30 minutes before the exam commences.

Candidates appearing in KU CAT 2018 must know the exam pattern so that they can be well prepared. KU CAT 2018 is a pen and paper based (offline) examination that consists of multiple choice questions. Candidates need to qualify in the written examination so that they can be called for the next round of selection.
Qualified candidates who have a valid KU CAT 2018 score card will be then invited via SMS or email to attend the group discussion and personal interview. The group discussion and personal interview will be held in one of the following centers, according to the choice of candidates:
KU CAT 2018 entrance examination is given 70% weightage. The group discussion carries 15% weightage and the personal interview carries 15% weightage. The provisional rank list will be then published by the Kerala University on their official website. Candidates will be offered admission according to their rank.

Candidates can solve previous year question papers to score well in KU CAT 2018 examination.
Candidates can check their result from the official website of the Kerala University. KU CAT 2018 Result will be announced after a few days of the examination. Candidates need to enter their roll number to check their results. Candidates must download their scorecard and take a printout of it as it will be needed in the next round of selection. Candidates who will qualify KU CAT 2018 entrance examination according to the cut off marks will be called for the next round of selection by Kerala University.
After the group discussion and personal interview, the Kerala University will publish a provisional rank list. Candidates will then be called for counselling. Admission will be offered to candidates according to the rank that they have secured.
KU CAT 2018 counselling will be conducted at the IMK, Kariavattom campus in July, 2018. On the day of counselling, total number of seats in MBA at IMK (40 seats for candidates under general category) and MBA-Tourism at IMK (40 seats for candidates under general category) will be filled.
If candidates under SC/ST categories fail to be present on the day of counselling, those seats will be filled by OEC and OBC. If some seats are still available, they will be filled by open category candidates. Candidates need to submit their documents that will act as a proof that they are eligible for admission. Document verification of candidates is done on the day of counselling.
