Maulana Azad Medical College(MAMC), Delhi admits candidates on the basis of NEET 2017 exam. It offers admissions to undergraduate courses in MBBS and BDS.

College is ranked 3rd in India for Medical Stream so candidates who strive to take admission into this college have to face a very tough competition. Moreover, it is the best college one can get through exam. NEET Cutoff  is the minimum marks required for admission at MAMC Delhi.

How to Get Admission in Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi ?

Admissions to UG courses in MBBS and BDS is done on the basis of NEET 2017 exam. Admissions will be made on the basis of scores obtained by candidates in the exam. Candidates shall try to get a score above 650 in NEET 2017. Candidates shall check NEET Rank Predictor to know about how much they need to score in exam

MAMC College Admission Procedure

Candidates are required to clear NEET 2017 cut off for Maulana Azad Medical College.

Candidate should have NEET 2017 admit card and original certificates including NEET 2017 scorecard at the time of counselling.

If, two or more candidates obtain equal marks in the exam, preference will be given to

  • Candidates obtaining higher marks in Biology/Bio-Technology in the NEET 2017.
  • Candidates obtaining higher marks in Chemistry in the NEET 2017
  • Candidates older in age.

MAMC Admission Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for bagging a seat in India’s Top 3rd Medical college one should fulfil the below mention criteria.

  • Age Limit- Candidate must be of minimum 17 years in age on or before December 31, 2017 and should not exceed 25 years as on December 31, 2017. For SC/ST/OBC candidates there is age relaxation of 5 years
  • Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen or an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)
  • Academic Eligibility: A candidate who has either passed or his appearing in the 10+2 or any equivalent examination from a recognized board of education with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology as subjects of study is eligible. The candidates must also have scored a minimum of 50% marks in HSc. For reserved category (SC/ST/OBC) candidates, the minimum percentage required is 40%. Physically handicapped students from general category must have secured 45% marks.

About NEET 2017 Exam

  • NEET 2017 (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is a national level medical entrance test conducted by the CBSE. NEET 2017 is gateway for admissions to approximately 52,305 MBBS and BDS seats in India. NEET 2017 will enable admission to all government, private and deemed medical and dental colleges/ universities across the country.
  • NEET 2017 will be conducted at 104 examination centres across India.
  • It is a one tier exam, commences once in a year in month of May. Appearance in NEET 2017 will be counted as first (1st) attempt.  
  • NEET 2017 will be conducted by CBSE in a pen and paper based mode on May 7, 2017.
  • NEET 2017 scores will be required for getting admission to 15% All India Quota Seats including Government Medical and Dental Colleges and 85% state quota seats for MBBS and BDS colleges in India.
  • Seats of 15% All Quota is filled by Medical Counselling Committee(MCC) and is in the online mode. Directorate of Medical Education is responsible for getting seats in 85% state Level quota seats in government and medical colleges in India.
  • In 2016, around 4.7 lakh candidates appeared for the NEET exam which is sufficient to know your competition.

Hi Manish, The NEET Entrance Exam is a national level entrance test for MBBS/BDS admissions after class 12. if you want to get admission in best college for MBBS, you need to appear for this exam and Admission to medical courses will now be done through NEET, as directed by the Supreme Court.
