How to Download NEET 2018 Admit Card?

  • NEET Admit Card will be issued by CBSE.
  • It is an important document which candidates must have at the time of examination and preserve till the end of admission procedure.
  • It must be noted that the admit card will not be sent to candidates through post or any other offline mode.
  • Candidates must have a print out of the admit card, and this print out shall be considered valid throughout.

  3. Enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth.
  4. Enter the security pin shown below and then click on ‘Submit’ button.

  6. Download it and take print outs for future use.

How to Obtain NEET Admit Card 2018 from NEET Facilitation Centres?

  • There are cases where a candidate is unable to download the admit card for NEET. 
  • For the ease of such candidates, CBSE has set up multiple NEET Facilitation Centres/ Common Service Centres.
  • These common services centres are a part of National E-Governance Plan and are being set up at every village level panchayat.
  • Candidates can visit them to obtain their NEET 2018 admit card.

After Downloading NEET 2018 Admit Card

  • Candidates must have a post card sized photograph of themselves ready. Background of this photograph must be white.
  • The standard dimensions for a post card sized photograph is 4cm x 6 cm.
  • This photograph of the candidate must be pasted neatly in the Performa that comes attached with the downloaded NEET 2018 Admit Card.

  • Candidates need to make sure that they are aware of all the important documents which they need to carry to NEET Exam Centre.

NEET 2018 Exam Centres

NEET 2018 will be conducted in a total of 104 cities. With a substantial increase in number of NEET Test Takers, CBSE made open 80 new exam cities across the country last year. It must be noted that exam cities will be allotted through computers and there will not be any human involvement.

NEET 2018 Exam Day Instructions

Candidates appearing for NEET are expected to follow a few general instructions to ensure smooth conduct of examination without any untoward incidents. They must abide by rules of the examination and follow given instructions.

  • Entry will not be allowed at NEET examination center after 9:30 AM.
  • The gates of the examination center will be opened 2 hours and 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
  • NEET 2018 Admit Card is an absolute must. Candidates without Admit Card will not be permitted to enter the center.
  • Admit Card must be in good condition with all the details clearly visible.
  • Carrying material inside exam hall, except admit card, photo identification proof (Aadhar Card) and passport size photographs, is strictly prohibited.
  • Candidates must find the seat allotted to them based on registration number and occupy that seat.
  • Invigilators and conducting authorities present in the examination hall will convey some general instructions before commencement of examination. Candidates are expected to pay attention to these instructions and follow them sincerely.
  • There will be a signal to indicate the start of the test. Similar signal is provided after half the exam duration is over.
  • There is also a signal at the end of the test. Candidates must stop marking their responses immediately after the signal and hand over the response sheets to the invigilator.
  • Candidates found to be in possession of barred articles, candidates trying to indulge in any sort of malpractice or using unfair means and candidates trying to converse with fellow candidates shall face immediate disqualification.
  • Aspirants are not supposed to leave the hall before the end of the examination.
  • Follow the dress code which includes only half sleeved light colored clothes, not having big folds or big buttons along with salwar/trouser. Candidates must also note that shoes are not allowed.
  • Candidates need to sign in the attendance sheets once before the start of the exam and once after the examination ends.

FAQs - NEET 2018 Admit Card

Ques. Can I carry a Xerox copy of photo id card on NEET exam day?

Ans. No. Candidates should carry any one of their photo id proofs in original. A Xerox or scanned copy will not be accepted at NEET exam center.

Ques. I have lost my NEET Admit Card. What should I do?

Ans. If by some unfortunate event you happen to lose your Admit Card, do not worry!  You can go back to the official website for CBSE NEET and reprint your admit card. You can download it by logging in with your credentials, before the exam day.

Ques. What are the operation timings of the authority office?

Ans. You may contact the authority between the office timings i.e. 11 am- 5 pm only.

Ques. From where can I download the admit card in offline mode?

Ans. In case a candidate is unable to download his Hall Ticket through online mode, he may choose to visit any of the Facilitation Centres, as laid out by CBSE.

Ques. Do I need to paste a photograph in NEET admit card? 

Ans: Yes, after downloading the hall ticket, candidates will have to paste a post card size admit card in the space provided. Further, the exam invigilator will cross check the particulars mentioned in it.

Ans: In such a case, candidate will have to recheck all the entries made in the login page. The registration number and password must be carefully entered with proper lower and upper case selection.
