NEET 2017 Rank List, Topper List, and Marks vs Rank Analysis

National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) is an all India level entrance examination for admission into MBBS and BDS courses after class 12th. Almost 11.5 lakh candidates registered last year showing an increase of about 70.58% from NEET-I and 139.37% from NEET-II in 2016.

The exam supplanted AIPMT as the qualifying medical entrance exam in 2016. CBSE has released the official notification for NEET 2018. Applicants can apply at from February 08 to March 09, 2018. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) issued the NEET Rank List 2017 on 23rd June, 2017. The rank list of NEET portrays All India Quota Rank, obtained marks and cutoff percentile of the applicants.

CBSE issues a Rank Letter for those applicants who are eligible for the 15% All India Quota Seats. Here's how you can access the same:

  1. Visit NEET Official Website.
  2.  Applicants will have to click on the NEET (UG) 2018 Rank Letter.
  3. Applicants should have to enter their Roll Number and Date of Birth in the column provided.
  4. Now click on the Submit button.
  5. The NEET Rank Card (for 15% AIR Quota) will be displayed on the computer screen.
  6. Applicants may download it for further use.

What is the information mentioned in the NEET State Wise Rank List?

The NEET State Rank UG List consists of the subsequent information.

  1. Name of the applicant
  2. Category of the applicant (SC/ ST/ OBC/ UR/ UR PH (Physically Handicapped)).
  3. Marks secured by the applicant
  4. Status of the applicant- Pass or Fail.

NEET Merit List: State Quota & All India Quota

Manish Mulchandani

Manish Mulchandani is from Madhya Pradesh. He stated to young candidates; Set an aim and stay concentrate on it. Don’t distract yourself. Make a complete strategy for grabbing a medical seat in Government College. Study important topics according to exam pattern. Be ready to sacrifice movies, parties as well as family function. Quit social media for two years and you can continue after you get selected. Use smartphones as a handy study tool and use the internet to gain information and knowledge. What’s App is a good tool to stay connected with teachers and ask your questions. Do a complete analysis of last 10 years papers. Take tests and then do test analysis for mistakes. Ignore out of the box questions as they are tough for all make a formula copy for Physics; don’t stress much on derivation. Keep high commitment and dedication. Hard work is the only the way to success.

Sankeerth Sadananda

Sankeerth Sadananda is from Karnataka. According to him ‘every candidate must solve sample papers. Thoroughly study the Mechanism for every reaction in Organic chemistry. Study NCERT for inorganic chemistry and in Physics start with physical chemistry. Do additional exercises. For Biology, Sankeerth relied on coaching study material. He said candidates should keep calm throughout the preparation phase and during the main exam.

Dogra Abhishek Veerendra

Abhishek is from Maharashtra and he joined Allen coaching institute. He said it’s beneficial to join a good coaching institute as it provides a competitive and learning environment. According to Abhishek ‘Candidates should stay positive and study happily with interest. Don’t take the stress, don’t study irrelevant syllabus, concentrate on NCERT topics.
