NEET 2017 Form Correction

NEET Application Form Correction 2017 is a one-time facility provided by CBSE for making corrections in the NEET Application Form, in the case of any discrepancy in the information. Candidates can make changes in the details such as Name, Date of Birth, Gender, State Code of Eligibility, Category, Disability Status, Medium and Examination Center.

The form correction facility has started from March 7, 2017 and will end by March 12, 2017. The corrections have to be done online at cbseneet.nic.in. Candidates have to visit the official website and access their NEET application form using login credentials.

Candidates might have to remit a certain application fee while making the changes in NEET Application Form. In case an additional fee is to be paid, it can be paid through the debit card/credit card or net banking by March 12, 2017.

NEET Application Process has ended on March 1, 2017. All the candidates must possess a valid Aadhaar Number to apply for NEET 2017

This year, CBSE has decided to allow candidates to make changes in the mode of examination and examination city as well. Candidates must keep the requisite documents ready in advance for making changes in the NEET Application Form. CBSE will not consider the request made for corrections after the due date under any circumstances.

NEET Application Form Correction 2017

Candidates often make mistakes while filling NEET Application Form either because of inexperience or confusion. Therefore, CBSE has provided the NEET Application Form Correction facility for all the applicants to edit the particulars in the online application form.

  • No further opportunities would be given to candidates for making corrections. Therefore, candidates must edit the form details carefully and thoroughly check the details before making it final draft.
  • Candidates can edit their personal information such as Name, Date of Birth, Gender, State Code of Eligibility, Category, Disability Status, Medium and Examination Center.
  • In case candidates are required to pay additional fee after making changes in the form, then they must remit the balance fee before the closure NEET Application Form Correction window.
  • Additional fee can be remitted either through credit card/ debit card or net banking.

Corrections in NEET Application Form

The form correction facility is just a one-time facility so you need to be very careful while making the corrections. Here we are providing you with the list of details that you can make changes in your application form:

Candidates belonging to the states of Assam, Meghalaya and Jammu & Kashmir will be able to change their state code of eligibility if and only if they have obtained their Aadhaar Number.Not Applicable

Correction in any other data is not allowed as this will not affect the candidature and the merit. Candidates should be very careful while making corrections as no second chance would be given to them.

After making corrections, candidates have to print correction slip and retain the same for the reference and record. No correspondence will be made by CBSE in this regard. Due to correction in category and disability status, if additional fee is payable, the same has to be remitted through Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking during the given period only.

Hi Manish, The NEET Entrance Exam is a national level entrance test for MBBS/BDS admissions after class 12. if you want to get admission in best college for MBBS, you need to appear for this exam and Admission to medical courses will now be done through NEET, as directed by the Supreme Court.
