  • Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian Citizen or Overseas Citizen of India.
  • Age Limit: Candidate must be of minimum 17 years of age at the time of admission on or before December 31st,2017. The upper age limit for admission seekers under All India Quota is 25 years relaxable for a period of 5 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
  • Essential Academic Qualification: The candidates who have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology individually securing a minimum of 50% in 10+2 is eligible. For reserved category (SC/ST/OBC), there is a relaxation of 10% so they have to secure a minimum of 40% to be eligible. General physically handicapped candidates have to secure a minimum of 45%. Aspirants who are appearing in 10+2 examination in 2017 may also appear provisionally subject to their fulfilling the conditions later on.

Topiwala National Medical College Formerly National Medical College was established in the year 1921 under the aegis of Mr. M.N. Desai Topiwala. The most striking feature of the college is that it is the first hospital, which was made by Indians under the British period. In the year 1946, it was handed over to the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM). Since then, the college has been on the path of success for its world class pedagogy in the field of medicine.
