NEET 2017 Answer Key with Solutions by Aakash Institute

NEET 2017 Answer Key by CBSE

NEET 2017 official answer key will be released by Central Board of Education in the last week of May 2017. CBSE will release the answer key along with OMR sheet on the official website of CBSE i.e. cbseneet.nic.in. Candidates can download their OMR sheet form the official website by using their registration number and Date of Birth. Here are the steps to check the answer key.

  1. Go to the official website of CBSE i.e. cbse.nic.in
  2.  Click on the link “Download answer key and OMR sheet”
  3. Login with your registration number and Date of Birth
  4. Download the OMR sheet and answer key
  5. Take the printout for future use

NEET 2017 Question Paper

NEET 2017 was successfully scheduled on May 07. The question paper consisted of 180 questions in MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) format. The question paper was divided into four sections i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany. Each section carries 45 questions.  Candidates had the duration of 3 hours to compete their examination. NEET 2017 Marking Scheme

NEET 2017 had 180 questions that were divided into 3 sections Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Zoology + Botany). Each question carried equal marks. Four marks will be awarded for every correct answer and one mark will be deducted for each incorrect response. There is no marking for unanswered questions.

  • +4 for every correct answer
  • -1 for every wrong answer
  • 0 mark for unattempt questions

NEET 2017 Qualifying Marks

After the declaration of NEET 2017 Result, CBSE will release separate merit list for each category. Applicants must score minimum 50% marks to qualify the exam. The criteria of qualifying marks are set by Central Board of Education. There is the relaxation in qualifying marks for reserved categories (SC/ ST/ OBC).

Tie Breakers

In case, if more than one candidate scores equal marks then the decision will be based on tie breaker process which is set by CBSC.

  • If two or more candidates get equal score, higher marks secured in Biology in NEET will be preferred
  • If still is tie, candidate obtaining higher marks in Chemistry in NEET will be preferred
  • If still is tie, applicant with less number of the wrong answer in the exam will be preferred
  • If still is tie, candidate who is older in age will be preferred

NEET 2017 Cut off (Expected)

The cut off is the minimum marks required to be eligible for admission. After the declaration of NEET 2017 result, various institutes will release the cut off for admission in M.B.B.S. and BDS program.
