Q. Name the Coaching Institute you joined and its Role in your Story?

Ans. I joined Allen Career Institute and I would say that it was sufficient for me but one cannot be totally dependent on these coaching classes for guidance. They would teach you a lot but you need your own guidance to select what to read and what to leave, and it’s really important, even I must say it is the only important thing.

Q. The Institutes that offered you Admission?

Ans. Unfortunately 3rd counselling of AIPMT was withheld in 2010 and during the 2nd counselling, I was offered to these colleges-

Q. How would you rate the following Preparation Strategy in terms of their efficiency in your story?

Q. What were your Strong and Weak areas? How did you prepare and what special efforts did you put for improving them?

Ans. My Physics was good and Biology was moderately good. But Chemistry was the poorest of all. I got good in chemistry from my coaching institute- Allen. Teachers from the achiever batch were just awesome and it worked for me. I practiced notes given by them as well as the coaching module worksheets.

Q. How did you manage AIPMT preparations along with your Class 12th exams?

Ans. During class 12th, firstly I prepared for AIPMT from April to December and then I focused on my class 12 exams in the duration of January and February. Most of the things are same for class 12 as well as for AIPMT preparation, the only difference is, for class 12 it is theoretical exam and objective approach for the AIPMT. Don’t get panic, all things are same.

Ans. I appeared for offline test series offered from Allen Institute and my suggestion is one should always prefer offline test series.

Q. Share your thoughts on the Strategy for the aspirant who is starting 4 months before the exam.

Ans. Give your first preference to previous year question papers of AIPMT and AIIMS for biology and include AIEEE question paper for physics. Always try to finish your biology and chemistry part first. And yes, if this is not much, go for the same notes which you preferred earlier. Do not go for any new note. Join a test and discussion as well as test series. Crash courses may be useful sometimes. And remember to revise the previous year papers should be your first aim.

Q. What are the things you would like to go back in time and change to get into a better college?

Ans. I would have given a bit more time for biology and chemistry particularly organic and inorganic. Because these things are scoring and less time consuming. Chances of error are also less as compared to physics. And yes, I would have revised few more times specially biology and chemistry.
