NEET 2016: Registration for Deemed Universities in Maharashtra, opens from August 21

The NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) 2016 Eligible candidates are required to fill in their information online on the official website to get their NEET Merit List for admission to 1st year of MBBS & BDS Course at Deemed University Medical & Dental Colleges (in the State of Maharashtra).They are required to visit the official website and read all the information regarding the same to get a better understanding of the whole process.

NEET (UG) 2016 is an entrance exam which is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).It is an exam for the candidates wanting to get admission in various MBBS/BDS courses under 15% All India Quota seats in Government Medical/Dental colleges of India under the control of DGHS, Government of India except in the States of Andhra Pradesh,Jammu & Kashmir and Telangana.NEET 1 2016 was conducted on May 1,2016 and NEET 2 was conducted on July 24, 2016.The results for the same were released on August 16, 2016.

The candidates of NEET (UG) 2016 wanting to get admission in the State of Maharashtra Ref: Medical Education & Drugs Department,Mantralaya, Mumbai Government Resolution No. CET-3516/C.R.325/16/EDU-2, dated August 20, 2016,who appeared for NEET UG 2016 and are eager to apply for seats in MBBS & BDS Course,excluding Institutional Quota Seats in Deemed University Medical & Dental Colleges,have to submit information on the website and August 21, 2016 to August 24, 2016 before 05:00 pm.

The information that will be provided by the NEET 2016 candidate will be used for the preparation of NEET UG - 2016 Maharashtra State Provisional Merit List for Deemed University Colleges. Only those NEET (UG) 2016 candidates will be considered for the subsequent process of Maharashtra State admission to various Medical and Dental seats who will submit the required information on time.

It is recommended to all the candidates that they must fill the Information form well in advance to avoid any last minute rush.It is best suggested that the candidate should not wait till the last date to fill the form as any delay might cause them problems. Any delay due to electricity failure or due to any technical fault will not be considered by the State CET CELL. Also, all the necessary instructions regarding the filling of the form is available on the official website in details. Hence,the candidate should definitely visit it before going through the filling process.

NEET 2016 Application Form and Fees for Admission Process

The candidates should make sure to follow the steps mentioned below so as to fill the Application Form for Admission Process at ease and without making any mistakes:

  1. The Competent Authority has issued Notice on August 21, 2016,regarding online Application process. Instructions for admission to 1st Year MBBS and BDS Degree courses in Deemed University Medical and Dental colleges in the State of Maharashtra will be made available on website of DMER and An applicant seeking admission will be required to submit single prescribed online application form (Specimen Copy of online application form is attached).
  1. Cost of online application form (as processing fee) for NEET (UG) 2016 is Rs. 1000/- + Rs. 60/- Bank Charges.The amount is not refundable.

  • Application form link will be displayed.Click on Application form link.
  • Instructions page will be displayed. Carefully read the Instructions for filling online form. After reading Instructions, applicant has to click NEXT button to go to the actual Online Application form.
  • Candidate should fill all the entries in application form.
  • System will validate required fields before allowing him / her to submission.
  • During submission the application system will ask the Candidate for Password.
  • Eligible Candidate will be able to submit the form.There is provision to make changes in the Application Form before Click on SUBMIT BUTTON.Candidate should verify the correctness of entries made in application form. There is no provision to make changes in the application form once Submit Button is clicked.
  • After submission of form Bank Challan will be displayed in two parts.
  • Unique Application No. (Username) along with details of nonrefundable required fee Rs. 1,000/-+ Rs. 60/- Bank charges will be available on challan and same details will be mailed to the Candidate on his given E-mail ID.
  • Candidate should take printout of Bank Challan. With this Challan pay the required fee in any Branch of State Bank of India,on next Working Day onwards, from the day of Printing Challan and obtain your copy of Challan indicating Journal ID/Transaction ID.
  • Candidate should LOGIN with Application No. (User Name) and his/her unique Password to download the printout of Application Form.Candidate has to preserve the downloaded printout of Application Form for subsequent use.
  • Applicants need not send copy of Application Form or any Document to this office.
  • Please note that if you commit any mistake in filling the online Application Form,it cannot be corrected by this office.The office will take no responsibility for any kind for such forms.
