AMPCK NEET Counselling: Final Merit List Published, Academic Session begins from Sep 16

AMPCK stands for the Association of Minority Professional Colleges in Karnataka. This body is responsible for conducting the entrance exam for admissions to various courses in the state. In its recent notification, the AMPCK has asked the eligible candidates for both Medical and Dental courses to fill up the vacant seats that are available with the Association. The selection of the eligible students will be on the basis of their NEET Score.

The results of NEET 2016, conducted by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) were announced on August 16, 2016. The State Government has permitted AMPCK to conduct Medical counselling 2016 to fill up the MBBS / BDS seats through the NEET Exam Result.

The eligible candidates are requested to fill up the AMPCK Medical and Dental Application Form to participate in the Online Counselling Process. The Final Merit has already been out, after considering the objections. It was declared on September 12, 2016. The Counselling Process begins from September 13, 2016. AMPCK Counselling Important Dates

The AMPCK’s Counselling Schedule 2016 is given below. The counselling will be based upon the NEET Scores of the candidates. Candidates must refer to this table for all the important dates and events.

AMPCK Counselling Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must keep in mind the below mentioned Eligibility Criteria while filling up the AMPCK Application Form, to apply in all AMPCK Member Institutes.

  • Candidates must secure atleast 50% aggregate in PCB and must pass these subjects individually too
  • Candidates must secure atleast 50% in English language
  • Candidate seeking MBBS/BDS admission in private minority medical colleges under AMPCK must obtain minimum 50% score in NEET 2016
  • Candidate must be atleast 17 years of age on or before December 31 of the year of admission to MBBS/BDS Course

AMPCK Online Application Procedure for Counselling

All the candidates who secure the qualifying NEET Scores will be allowed to participate in the AMPCK Counselling 2016. They must fill up the application form with all the particulars and send the printed copy to the AMPCK Office along with the required documents.

While filling up the AMPCK Online Application Counselling Form, candidates will be required to upload the below mentioned documents:

  • Photo ID / Address Proof – Voters ID/Driving License/Aadhar Card/e-Aadhar/Passport
  • NEET Rank Card
  • Linguistic Minority Certificate
  • 10th Std / SSLC / SSC or Equivalent Mark Card
  • 12th Std / PU or PUC or equivalent mark card

After successful completion of the Online Application Form, candidates must take a printout of the same and attach the below mentioned documents. They have to be submitted as a hard copy and must be sent to the AMPCK Office Address.

AMPCK 2016 Merit List

Once the AMPCK Counselling Application 2016 are received, an Inter-se Merit List will be prepared. This list will be prepared keeping in mind the Tamil, Telugu, Tuly, Kodava languages and candidates falling under Hyderabad/ Karnataka Region who are intended to participate in the AMPCK counselling 2016.

Candidates may please note that the first round of MBBS/BDS Counselling will be based upon this Inter-se Merit List, through online medium. The second round of counselling will be held for the remaining seats.

For admissions to the medical courses, it will be done for only 55% of the Association students who qualify in the National Eligibility Entrance Test ,NEET 2016. This will be in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the State Government. The first round of counselling will be conducted for Minority candidates only. In case seats remain vacant, they will be filled during the second round.

Hi Manish, The NEET Entrance Exam is a national level entrance test for MBBS/BDS admissions after class 12. if you want to get admission in best college for MBBS, you need to appear for this exam and Admission to medical courses will now be done through NEET, as directed by the Supreme Court.
