NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) exam is national level entrance exam conducted for admission to MBBS and BDS programs in India. NEET Result 2017 is expected to be declared on June 8, 2017. NEET 2017 Result will be displayed in the form of Score card which should be downloaded and kept safe by candidates for the future correspondence. Candidates securing marks above the NEET cut off will be eligible for NEET counselling.
Candidates can check NEET result online by visiting the official website and providing login credentials. NEET Score Card is an important document needed at the time of counseling. Soon after the declaration of NEET result, merit list will also be published which is only meant for the qualified candidates.
CBSE will release the NEET 2017 Score Card tentatively on June 8, 2017. Counselling process will commence after the releasing of score card. Highlights for NEET 2017 Score Card are tabulated below:

NBE (National Board of Examination) has already declared NEET PG Result 2017 on January 13, 2017. The NEET PG result is declared in the form of the Score card. Candidates can access NEET PG Score Card by entering their Confirmation ID, Testing ID and Date of Birth.
A separate NEET PG 2017 merit list has been declared for 50% All India quota, 50% category quota and state quota/deemed universities/private medical colleges/AFMS rank. To be eligible for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma, candidates should score a minimum of 50 percentile.
NEET 2017 Result is released on the official website after CBSE completes the evaluation of NEET answer sheets. Candidates can check their NEET 2017 result in the form of NEET Score Card which displays the total scores and scores secured in each section. NEET Score Card can be checked by following the given steps:
STEP 1: Visit the official website of NEET at cbseneet.nic.in.
STEP 2: Under the News section, click on NEET Result. A new tab will get open as shown below:
STEP 3: Enter the required credentials i.e. Testing ID and Date of Birth to get the NEET Score Card.
Step 4: NEET Score Card will be displayed on the screen. Download and take printout of the NEET Score Card for further use.

It is important to note that the result of NEET PG 2017 is valid for a year. The colleges will consider NEET 2017 Score Card for admission in MD/MS/PG Diploma courses in session 2017-18 only. To become eligible for admission in the next session, candidates will have to appear again for the NEET examination, if eligible.

NEET Percentile Score is calculated on the basis of candidate’s relative position as compared to other rank holders. NEET All India Rank is calculated by considering the absolute score obtained by the candidates in NEET 2017.

Note: There is no provision of re-checking /re-evaluation of the question paper and answer sheet and no query in this regard will be entertained.
NEET cutoff scores are determined on the basis of the total number of seats available, the number of candidates appeared for the test, and level of difficulty of the NEET exam. CBSE will prepare the NEET 2017 Merit list of qualified candidates and conduct the counselling process.

NEET Cutoff will be released after the declaration of NEET 2017 result. It is expected to be declared in the second week of June 2017. There will be separate cutoff marks for different categories. NEET 2017 Cutoff will be released for 2 quotas– All India Quota and State Level Quota. Top 15% scorers in NEET 2017 will be allowed to participate directly in the NEET2017 counselling under 15% All India Quota.

National Board of Examination will release the merit list for the following categories.
All India NEET PG 2017 Rank – This is the overall rank list. It will not depend on the category of candidates. All India NEET PG Rank reflects the overall merit position of the candidate who appeared in the NEET PG 2017.
All India 50% quota rank – This will be the overall merit position of the candidates eligible for All India 50% quota and is valid only for All India 50% quota MD/MS/Postgraduate Diploma courses in 2017 academic session.
All India 50% quota Category Rank – Category Rank will be the overall merit portion of candidates in the category (SC/ST/OBC) as chosen during the registration process for All India 50% quota and is valid only for All India 50% quota for MD/MS/PG Diploma courses in 2017 academic session.
State quota Private Medical College/AFMS Rank/Deemed University/– State category rank, state quota rank, benefit for in-service candidates, rural postings (in case applicable) will be decided by the designated agency/authority of the concerned state/university/concerned authority on the basis of regulations, eligibility criteria, guidelines and reservation policies.
Note : After the declaration of NEET PG 2017 result, the first counselling is held in the month of March 2017 by Medical Counselling Committee for admissions to 50% seats in government medical colleges of India.
