NEET or National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test, was introduced last year for admission into Medical and Dental courses across India. NEET replaced AIPMT from 2017 to provide a common ground for admissions in medical and dental colleges as well as to provide hazel free admission process. It aims to bring uniformity to the admission into various medical courses.

For MBBS Admission, BJMC Pune offers admissions to candidates on the basis of NEET Score. BJMC Pune has a 30-certain number of seats intake.
The admissions are on the basis of merit with constitutional reservations, done by the centralized process by Govt. of Maharashtra. The breakup of seats is 15% by DGHS though All India PMT of the remaining seats, 30% for State Level and 70% for Development board area (Rest of Maharashtra).
There are 200 admissions to MBBS course every year in the college. The admissions are on the basis of merit of All India NEET with constitutional reservations, done by the centralized process by Govt. of Maharashtra. The breakup of seats is 15% by DGHS GOI, of the remaining seats, 30% for State Level and 70% for Development board area (Rest of Maharashtra).
There are about 1000 medical students studying in B. J. Govt. Medical College.
Those candidates who qualify the selection criteria of BJMC Pune, can proceed for the application process. The application fee is INR 1400 (INR 750 for SC/ST/PH Category). Claims for refund after submission of fee and application form will not be entertained under any circumstances.
The Application Process for NEET 2017 will be released in the last week of December 2016. The examination can be held on May 7, 2017. It will be an online process and there will be no offline application forms. The application form can be accessed through the official website of NEET. The last date to submit the online application shall be 22nd January 2017.
AGE: For admission to Medical course, have completed the age of 17 years as on 31st December of the year of the admission.
Educational Qualification: Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Maharashtra, or examinations recognized equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Biology/Biotechnology separately, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology put together, are eligible. In the absence of Biology, Biotechnology will be considered as a subject for academic eligibility.
