TSICET Spot Counselling 2016 for MBA & MCA begins from Sep 30

The TSICET Spot Counselling Schedule/Admission Dates 2016 have been released. The Kakatiya University (KU), on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has released Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test (TSICET) counselling schedule. The TSICET Spot Counselling 2016 is done for all the unfilled vacancies in MBA & MCA courses. Its will be conducted on 30th September, 2016. The TSICET Seat Allotment 2016 will be done during this counselling.


The candidates are hereby informed that all the left-over vacancies in Private Unaided MBA and MCA colleges will be filled by the Institutional spot admissions held at the respective colleges. The candidates desirous to seek admission are informed to contact the Principal of the respective institutions.

TSICET 2016 Spot Counselling Schedule

The TSICET Spot Counslling Schedule 2016 has been out. The uploading of reported candidates will begin from september 30, 2016. Make sure you do not miss upon these dates given below:

TSICET Spot Counselling 2016 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the TSICET Spot Counselling 2016 Eligibility Criteria before attending the TSICET Counselling. Candidates shall not be allowed for spot admission without original certificates. Refer to the below points to know more:

  • The vacancies are to be filled first with those qualified in TSICET-2016 and possessing 50% (49.5% and above can be taken as 50%) marks in aggregate in respect of other than SC/ST/BCs and 45% (44.5% and above can be taken as 45%) marks in aggregate in respect of BC/SC/STs are eligible for spot admission.
  • If the vacancies are still left, candidates without TSICET Rank and passed Degree or its equivalent examination with the percentage of marks indicated above shall be considered.
  • Similarly, the dropout vacancies (Reported but discontinued) shall be given only for that category.
  • Likewise, the not reported cases and cancelled cases should be given only for that category.
  • If a particular candidate is not available, they should be converted to another category, as per the Annexure enclosed i.e., finally after exhausting all category candidates the vacancies should be diverted to open category.
  • Candidate belonging to other state and completely studied there (Other State) only and whose parents belong to other state and residing there only, is not eligible for admission. He/She cannot be considered even as Non-Local (NL) candidate to Telangana State for admission and ratification will not be given for such cases if they admit the candidate by violating the guidelines issued.
  • Further the candidates admitted during institutional spot admissions are to be informed that their spot admissions are subject to ratification by the Convener, TSICET-2016 Admissions. In case if spot admission given to a particular candidate is not ratified for certain technical reasons, he/she has to quit the college immediately. This to be made clear to every candidate on the day of conducting the spot admissions in the college.

Candidates possessing Degree or its equivalent certificates other than those issued by the University Concerned in Telangana/A. P shall be asked to get the equivalency certificate from the concerned University in the State of Telangana before granting admission.

TSICET Counselling Procedure 2016

The TSICET 2016 Counselling Process will contain various steps which are discussed below:

  1. Candidate Registration: All the candidates who are selected for TSICET  Counselling must register themselves by filling the registration form at the counselling center.
  2. Certificate verification: Once the registration is donethe candidates must report to the counselling center with the required list of documents mentioned below for certificate verification.
  3. Online Web Options Entry & Freezing or Locking of Options: After the certificate verification, the conducting body will release an online portal for the candidates where they have to enter their preference of colleges in the online portal and lock it.
  4. TSICET 2016 Seat Allotment: During the TSICET 2017 seat allotment process, those choices that have been locked before the deadline will be considered for seat allocation. The final seat allotment will be made on the basis of the TSICET 2016 Merit list and availability of seats apart from the candidate’s choice.
  5. Payment of Fee and Reporting in allotted college: The ultimate step of TSICET 2016 Counselling is payment of fee. The candidates are required to download the bank challan from the online website. The fee can be paid in any of the Andhra Bank or Indian Bank in the state of Telangana. The candidates will receive a proof of the payment and with this receipt the candidates must report to the allotted colleges.

TSICET Counselling 2016 List of Documents

Candidates must present the below mentioned documents in original. Failure of presenting these, may result in cancellation of admission.

  1. SSC Marks Memo Original
  2. Intermediate or its equivalent Marks Memo Original
  3. Degree or its equivalent Marks Memo Original
  4. Study Certificates Originals
  5. TSICET- 2016 Rank Card, if qualified
  6. Caste Certificate, if applicable
  7. Residence Certificate, if applicable

TSICET Counselling 2016 Seat Allotment & Reporting to College

Seats will be allotted on the basis of the TSICET Merit List 2016, following the rule of reservation prescribed by the Government of Telangana. On the basis of the given choices by the candidates and their rank in TSICET 2016, seats will be allocated to the candidates. It will be available online and a link to access the same will be provided here in this article also. If the candidates will be satisfied with the allotted seat, they must report to the college and should pay the tuition fee for securing the seat allotment.

TSICET 2016 Counselling Fee

The candidates have to pay the following counselling fee at the college.

  • TSICET-2016 Qualified Candidates: INR 1000/-
  • TSICET-2016 Not Qualified Candidates: INR 1500/-
