APICET 2018 Notification to be released soon

AP ICET 2018 notification is expected to release in the month of February 2018. It will be available on the official website. The registration will start in the first week of March 2018. Candidates who wish to apply for the exam can submit application form on the official website of the exam i.e. apicet.nic.in. The last date of application form submission is April 05, 2018.

AP ICET 2018 is scheduled for May 02, 2018. Those who will successfully submit their applications can download AP ICET Admit Card on April 28, 2018 from the official website. 

AP ICET (Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test) is a state level offline test which is conducted for admission to MBA and MCA courses of all the Universities in Andhra Pradesh State and their affiliated institutes. This exam is conducted by Andhra University on the behalf of APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education).


AP ICET 2018 Important Dates

AP ICET 2018 registration is expected to start in the first week of March 2018. Candidates can submit their applications on the official website of exam. The registration window closes in the first week of March 2018.

It is important for the students to keep track of the date sheet to keep themselves updated. It is advised to complete the complete procedure before April 12. The tentative schedule for the exam is summarized below:

AP ICET 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Applicants wishing to apply have to fulfill the complete AP ICET Eligibility Criteria mentioned below:

  • Candidate should fulfill local/non-local status requirement as given in the Andhra Pradesh State Educational Institutions.
  • Applicant should be of Indian Nationality otherwise they should fulfil the criteria mentioned by the Andhra Pradesh State Educational Institutes.
  • Students applying for MCA should have 3 years’ bachelor’s degree with Mathematics as a compulsory subject
  • Students applying for MBA should have 3 years bachelor’s degree in any subject from a recognized institution. One should have had Mathematics as a subject in standard 10.
  • Aggregate of 50% (45% for reserved category) is required for applying. 
  • Candidates in the final year of their respective course is also eligible
  • Qualifying degree obtained from Distance Mode Program should have recognition from Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC/DEB.

AP ICET 2018 Application Form 

AP ICET Registration is done in online mode. Students can submit the application form on the official website of AP ICET i.e. http://sche.ap.gov.in. The last date of application form submission is April 01, 2018. No applications received after the deadline. 

Applicants have to pay an application fee of INR 500. it can be paid in online mode through Credit card/ Debit card/ Net banking. 

Steps to Apply:

  1. visit the official website i.e. http://sche.ap.gov.in.
  2. Click on the link registration and select your applied program
  3. Fill application form with all the required information
  4. Upload the scan copy of all the required documents in JPEG format
  5. Pay an application fee either of the available modes
  6. Take the print out of application fee for future reference

AP ICET 2018 Exam Pattern

AP ICET is designed to judge a student’s Aptitude, Mathematical and Verbal ability. This is an objective type paper containing multiple choice questions. The paper is of 200 marks and each question of 1 mark. No negative marking for incorrect answer. The marks distribution is given below:

Section A: Analytical Ability

  • Data Sufficiency -20
  • Problem Solving -55

Section B: Mathematical Ability

  • Arithmetical Ability -35
  • Algebraical and Geometrical Ability -30
  • Statistical Ability -10

Section C: Communication Ability

  • Vocabulary -10
  • Business and Computer Terminology -10
  • Functional Grammar -15
  • Reading Comprehension -15

AP ICET 2018 Result

AP ICET Result will be declared in the month of May 2018 on the official website of the exam. The result will be declared in the form of ranks and score card. Candidates can check AP ICET Results by entering Registration Number and Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY).

  • Applicants have to obtain minimum 50 marks out of 200 to qualify the exam.
  • In case more than one student obtains the same marks, the tie breaking criteria would be:
  • Considering marks in Section A
  • If the tie is still not broken, marks in Section B will be considered
  • If the tie persists, age factor will be taken into consideration and older candidate will be given preference.
  • The rank obtained will be valid for admission in colleges for MBA and MCA in Andhra Pradesh.
