NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
With the last moment order passed by the Supreme Court of India for converting AIPMT 2016 to NEET 2016 has created confusion among the students.
For creating awareness we have compiled the answers to the various related questions that are rising in minds of students.
Q.1. NEET Or AIPMT - I had applied for AIPMT exam to be conducted on May 1. So after that orders, is it NEET or AIPMT for which I am appearing for?
Ans. After the SC orders, AIPMT is NEET 2016 Now. It will be conducted in two phases. 1st phase was conducted on May 1 and other phase is going to be conducted on July 24, 2016.
Q.2. Court’s Hearing - It may considered that it is not the final judgment. Court has subsequently several times refused to interfere with that order. Is there any remedy which can be availed against the order?
Ans. First of all the Supreme Court is the highest court and its order can’t be further appealed against
Q.3. 12th Marks Consideration – States like Tamil Nadu don’t hold there entrance exam. They just take admissions on the basis of class 12th marks. Will students from those states also have to appear for test?
Ans. Yes, students who have not applied for the NEET exam can apply for its Phase 2 test. Students who have appeared for the AIPMT Phase 1 can also apply for NEET phase 2 exam, but for this they have to give up thier candidature of AIPMT Phase 1.
Q.4. Language of Paper - I don’t speak Hindi or English. Are there any other languages in which paper comes?
Ans. As we know AIPMT was conducted only in both these languages. Hence NEET will also come in these two languages.

Q.5. Illegal – In 2013 judgment, Supreme Court made NEET Unconstitutional. What did the recent judgment do?
Ans. Recently, Supreme Court recalled its judgment made in 2013. The litigation that was challenging the constitutionality of NEET has invalidates by the SC.
Q.6. Dress Code – Are there still restrictions on the wearing customary dresses including Burqas/hijab etc.?
Ans. This year council has relaxed the dress codes. However candidates wearing religious/customary dresses had to report on the exam centers at 8:30 am for the proper frisking.
Q.7. Will a Candidate who remain absent in AIPMT 2016 phase 1 be allowed to appear in NEET Phase 2?
Ans. Yes, Candidates who have once applied for Phase 1 are allowed for second phase. But for this they have to give up thier candidature of AIPMT Phase 1
