NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
JEE Advanced is one of the most challenging entrance exam conducted for the engineers who seek admission in various elite colleges, accepting JEE Advanced Scores. IIT JEE consists of objective type questions and is jointly conducted by the seven zonal IITs with guidance from the Joint Admission Board (JAB). Almost every year, there is an increase in the number of aspirants who appear for the exam. Hence, for obvious reasons the competition for the same increases every year.

JEE Advanced is the second stage examination of JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) and is conducted to provide admission to eligible candidates in various Bachelor’s degree, Integrated Master’s or Bachelor-master Dual Degree in Engineering, Science, Architecture or Pharmaceuticals in IITs and ISM. The aspirants can attempt this examination for 2 consecutive times. The applications are invited from interested candidates all over India and abroad as well.
JEE Advanced is set to be held on May 21, 2017 and IIT Madras will be the conducting body for the same.
The aspirants who sit for JEE Main and have successfully cleared the same, are the only eligible candidates who can give JEE Advanced. Last year, top 2 lakh rank holders in JEE Main 2016 were eligible to take the JEE Advanced 2016. For the next year, the intake of the candidates will increase up to twenty thousand who will be eligible to sit for the JEE Advanced 2017, after clearing JEE Main. This increase will take the number of candidates for JEE Advanced to 2.2 lakh.
The decision for the increase in the intake in JEE Advanced was taken at the JAB meeting which was recently held in IIT Madras. With this decision, few key features regarding the same were also implemented. Listed below are those key features that are to be implemented for the JEE Advanced 2017 Exam:
