NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
Quantitative aptitude is the common section asked in most of the Management Entrance Exam and It is one of the determining section of SNAP Test 2016. The standard of Quantitative Aptitude questions asked in SNAP is slightly lower than CAT Exam.
Candidates have to attempt total number of 150 questions. Total time allotted is 120 minutes. The Test is conducted as an objective Test. SNAP Test consists of General English, quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, general awareness. Read SNAP Syllabus
SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude test) is a national level entrance exam conducted by Symbiosis International University (SIU). SNAP Test is conducted for management aspirants who are seeking admission to MBA programs into various institutes under SIU.
Quantitative Aptitude in SNAP Test holds 22% weight of the total 150 questions. The Question in the SNAP QA varies from Arithmetic to Algebra and 2D Geometry to 3D Volumes & Areas.
With the right Preparation and Strategic Planning, Quantitative Section under SNAP Test could prove to be major scorer in the University Entrance Exam for SIU. However, time limit in the SNAP Test is still the major challenge to overcome. 40 Questions to be solved in the minimum possible time becomes a herculean task for the candidates in SNAP Test. In this section, half of the questions are asked from arithmetic operations and fundamental of mathematics that include number properties, LCM, HCF, divisibility, remainder theorem, fraction & decimals, ratio proportion, percentage, profit & loss, time & work, time & speed, simple/ compound interest etc. it is most scoring section for candidates and it consumes less time as well.
Rest of the questions asked are from Geometry, modern mathematics & data interpretation. In Geometry & algebra, Simple/ quadratic equations, polynomials, exponents, functions, triangles, circles, parallelogram. Modern mathematics & data interpretation covered areas, volumes, pie chart, bar graph, statistics etc.
Candidates requires more practice for questions from these topics and need to get solution & correct answer in one go.
Quant and DI in SNAP Exam has a little high difficulty level. According to experts ‘the difficulty level of questions in this section is higher than other ones and aspirants are advised to practice specific SNAP type of questions. Synchronising the preparation for SNAP with CAT will accelerate the preparation pace with less effort for both the tests’.
