JEE Main Cut off for National Institute of Technology, Meghalaya [NIT Meghalaya]

NIT Meghalaya JEE Main Cut Off 2017 is the minimum marks needed by the students to clear JEE Main exam in order to be eligible for pursuing B.Tech courses at National Institute of Technology, Meghalaya. NIT grants admission to various courses to students qualifying JEE Main exam through JOSAA Counselling. NIT Meghalaya provides B.Tech in the following courses:

  • Computer Science & Engineering
  • Electronics & Communication Engineering
  • Electrical and Electronics Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Civil Engineering

JEE Main Cut Off is released after the declaration of result by the CBSE, the conducting body of JEE Main. JEE Main Cut off is in the form of marks/score.

NIT Meghalaya and all other NITs participate in JOSAA for the admission procedure. There are 5 rounds of counselling in JOSAA. Therefore, the merit list is prepared 5 times, one after each counselling round to fill the remaining seats. 

JEE Main 2017 is scheduled for April 2 (Pen-paper based) and April 8 and 9, 2017 (Computer-based). JEE Main Result will be announced on April 27, 2017. Candidates can check their result along with the cut off for JEE Main through official website.

NIT Meghalaya 2017 B.Tech Admission

Candidates aspiring to pursue B.Tech at NIT Meghalaya must have cleared JEE Main. Admissions are entirely based on the JEE ranks. The candidates should have secured at least 75% marks in class 12th exam, or be in the top 20 percentiles in Class 12th exam conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST students, the qualifying marks would be 65% in Class 12th exams. Candidates have to register through JOSAA for the counselling process.

On the day of Document Verification, candidates must bring the following documents:

  1. Provisional Seat Allotment Letter
  2. JEE Main 2017 Admit Card
  3. Passport size photo (same as the one used during JEE Main Registration)
  4. Score Card
  5. Photo Id Proof issued by Govt./School
  6. Mark sheets of 10th and 12th class
  7. Medical Report as per the format mentioned on JOSAA official website
  8. Category Certificate
  9. Migration Certificate

Candidates are also required to submit the admission fee of INR 45,000 on the day of the admission.
