NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE/OFFLINE TEST
JEE Main is the national level exam for the admission into various Govt. Funded Technical Institutions. Candidates clearing JEE Main Cut off have to participate in JoSAA counselling through which GFTIs took admission in engineering courses. All the GFTIs releases their own cut off for selection process.
During JoSAA Counselling there are 6 rounds and each GFTI releases Cut off after each round. Candidates score must be above the Cut off released by GFTI for getting admission into any of them.
JEE Main 2017 was held on April 2, 8 and 9, 2017. JEE Main result is going to be declared on April 27, 2017. Candidates those who secure marks above the JEE Main Cut off will be eligible for the JOSAA Counselling. JEE Main Cut Off will be declared by CBSE after the declaration of JEE Main Result.
However, experts are saying that JEE Main Cut Off for 2017 will be higher than the previous years. Therefore, we have analyzed the expected cut off which is shown below in the table:

JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) 2017 will regulate the common counselling for admissions to 92 Participating Institutes of JEE Main 2017 among them 18 are Government funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs). There are total 3784 seats combinedly in all GFTIs. JoSAA Counselling will be conducted in the month July 2017.
The Counselling of JEE Main 2017 will be held in 6 rounds. The Candidates who qualify JEE Main 2017 will be eligible to register for seat Allocation in the Participating Institutes of JEE Main. Candidates will have to register, fill up their choices and lock their choices before appearing in the JEE Main 2017 Counselling.
The Counselling Process of JEE Main 2017 is divided into the following stages:
Candidates (General Category) those who secured 75% marks in their qualifying examination (12th board examination) are eligible or they must be in 20 percentiles of their respective boards for the admission in GFTIs. For SC/ST candidates the minimum qualifying percentage is 65%.
