NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE/OFFLINE TEST
NIT Delhi offers admissions to various B.Tech courses such as Computer science and engineering, electronics and communication engineering and electrical and electronics engineering. The admission to these courses is provided when candidates qualify JEE Main Cut Off set by the authorities for those who clear JEE Main exam. Cut Off is the minimum score which must be acquired by the aspirants to qualify in the counselling process. Mere qualification to the cut off marks does not ascertain candidate’s admission, it is important to abide by eligibility criteria mentioned and produce the required documents.
Admission to NIT Delhi is offered through JoSAA counselling. It conducts counselling centrally for NITs, IITs, MNITs and IIITs. Candidates will have to fill the online registration form for counselling from June 27, 2017, onwards. Counselling will begin from June 30, 2017, and will continue till July 19, 2017.
NIT Delhi admissions are based on JEE Main. JEE Main this year was held on April 2, 2017 (Pen and Paper Based) and April 8 & 9, 2017(Computer Based). JEE Main Results will be published on April 27, 2017. Candidates can check their JEE Main 2017 Result through official website of CBSE.

For admission to various courses offered under B.Tech program in NIT Delhi, it is important to have secured marks above or equal to the JEE 2017 cut off in JEE Main. The counselling for qualified candidates will be carried out by JoSAA. The online registration must be completed for JoSAA counselling after June 27, 2017. The qualified candidates will have to take all the original certificates along with photocopies of documents to the counselling centre. General category candidates must have secured at least 75% marks in 10+2 exam or be in the top 20 percentiles in Class 12 exams conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ ST candidates, there is a relaxation of 10% marks in aggregate in the class 12 examination. The counselling will be conducted in six rounds from June 30 to July 19, 2017.
