NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE/OFFLINE TEST
CBSE has released the latest Admission Notice for JEE Main 2017. It is reported, JEE Main 2017 will be conducted on April 2, 2017 (Sunday). Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Nagaland & Odisha have joined JEE Main System. Aspiring candidates seeking admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs in NITs, IITs and other centrally funded technical institutes in these states, are advised to fill in JEE Main 2017 application form.
Earlier, admissions were based on the state level examinations in centrally funded technical institutes but by this time, candidates are required to appear in JEE Main 2017. It is also an entry level test for JEE Advanced which is held for admission in IITs.
Candidates are requested to check the JEE Main Eligibility and ensure as per the criteria laid down for JEE Main. Indian nationality candidates aspiring for JEE Main should possess Aadhaar Card with correct details. It is mandatory to enter the Aadhaar Number while filling JEE Main Application Form.
If there is some mismatch in the details, candidate should immediately get it corrected as the details will be checked with UIDAI’s data. The last date to apply for JEE Main is January 2, 2017. Candidates can find the JEE Main 2017 exam dates below:

JEE Main Application Form will be available on JEE Main official website. It is an online process. The application fee is INR 1000 for General Category and INR 500 for SC/ST Category. Candidates who have applied for both B.Tech and B.Arch have to pay INR 1800 (General Category) and INR 900(SC/ST Category) respectively.
The registration process will close on January 2, 2017. The application fees for JEE Main 2017 is as follows:

MHRD has notified following 2 changes in JEE Main 2017 pattern:
JEE Main consists of 2 papers– Paper 1 and Paper 2.Candidates who are willing toapply for BE/BTech will be appearing in Paper 1 while Paper 2 is held for B. Arch. /B. Planning aspirants. Both the papers will be held on the same day.
Candidates can choose the mode of examination for Paper 1, i.e. online or pen-paper based mode. There is no option for Paper 2, it is held in pen paper mode only. The total marks allotted for Paper I is 360 while total marks allotted for Paper 2 is 390.
