JEE Main 2017 Mock Test Released by CBSE

JEE Main 2017 is scheduled to take place on April 02 (online mode) and April 08 & 09, 2017 (offline mode). CBSE in a major boost to candidates’ preparation has provided the facility for online mock test. The mock test in particular is going to help the candidates who opt for the online mode to appear in Paper I of JEE Main 2017.

It is the most prominent entrance exam for admission to undergraduate engineering courses in NITs/IIITs/CFTIs and top tier private and state owned engineering colleges. JEE Main Exam Pattern and Syllabus

JEE Main Paper I is meant for B.E. and B. Tech aspirants. There are total 3 sections in the question paper – Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. All the 3 sections contain 30 questions each. JEE Main Syllabus is based on the 10+2 curriculum prescribed by CBSE. Therefore, the ncert textbooks for Class 11th and 12th are the primary reference source for all the candidates preparing for JEE Main 2017. Apart from the NCERT textbooks, candidates can also use various reference books for individual subject preparation.

JEE Main 2017 Online Mock Test

The online mock test for Paper I is available on the official portal of JEE Main 2017. You don’t require any login credentials to access the online mock test. The user interface for the mock test is designed to help the candidates in familiarizing themselves with the structure of online exam mode.

The option to access the online mock test is provided on the home page of JEE Main 2017 portal.

You can select the language in which they want to take the mock test – English and Hindi. There is no requirement to enter application number and password to access the test. The candidates will have the following options at the time of attempting JEE Main in online mode:

  1. Answered – All those questions which the candidates have answered and submitted
  2. Not Answered – All the questions which candidates have not attempted but checked out
  3. Not Visited – All the questions which the candidates have neither answered nor visited
  4. Marked for Review – Questions which they have not answered but marked for review later
  5. Answered & Marked for Review – All the questions which have been answered and marked for review later.

All the questions including answered, not answered, not visited, marked for review and answered & marked for review are indicated on the side panel of the computer screen. Candidates can check the final statistics of their performance at the end of session.

Preparation Tips for JEE Main 2017

Preparation for JEE Main should focus on covering individual subjects separately since topics and types of questions simultaneously. Candidates can check below some suggested tips for scoring good score in JEE Main 2017.
