STATE LEVEL ONLINE TEST
The WBJEE Medical 2016 exam was conducted on July 20, 2016. The counselling of WBJEE Medical 2016 will be conducted in three rounds, two rounds of counselling were completed.
The Round 1 WBJEE 2016 medical Process of seat allotment commenced on August 31, 2016, and the results for the same was published on September 1, 2016. For the same round, the WBJEE document verification took place at the WBJEE designated Centres on September 2, 2016, and September 3, 2016. The candidates selected from Round 1, were supposed to report to their respective colleges on September 5, 2016, to September 7, 2016.

The Round 2 of Counselling and Seat Allotment for WBJEE 2016 was held on September 8, 2016, and the results for the same was released on September 9, 2016. The WBJEE Document Verification for the same took place on September 10, 2016. And the selected candidates are now supposed to report to their respective colleges from September 13, 2016, till September 15, 2016.
The Round 3 seat matrix will be published on September 17, 2016. The choosing and locking of the seats for WBJEEMedical 2016 will take place on September 19, 2016, to September 20, 2016. West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination or theWBJEE is a state-government controlled centralized test, conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board for admission to many private and governmental medical and engineering institutions in West Bengal.
WBJEE Medical exam is a state level entrance test for admissions to MBBS and BDS seats in State and Central Government Medical and Dental Colleges in West Bengal.
Candidates should follow the below steps to check the WBJEE 2016 Medical Seat Allotment:
1. Visit the official website i.e. wbjeeb.nic.in
2. Click on the link “WBJEE Medical Seat Allotment”.
3. Enter your credentials i.e. Roll Number or Application number & date of birth.
4. Enter the same security pin.
5. Click on submit button.
6. Seat Allotment result will be downloaded.
7. Take the print out of the same.
The WBJEE Board takes different measures to ensure the correctness of the MCQs and their appropriate answers. The WBJEE board does not provide any provision for re-checking or re-evaluating the declared result. The WBJEE Board serves the best possible supervision and regulation to ensure the error-free declaration of the WBJEE 2016 Results.
Candidates must note that the result for WBJEEMedical2016 will only be stated for those students who will score the minimum qualifying marks as eligible for their respective categories in WBJEEMedical2016. The table below gives you a category wise cut off percentage:

As per the WBJEE 2016, Medical cut off, Merit list will be published. The merit list consisted of names of those candidates who successfully qualify for the exam by scoring at least the minimum qualifying marks that have been stated above.
All the details pertaining to counselling are available now including all the details pertaining to documents and centralized admission process.
It involves centralized computer based choice filling and seat allotment process. Candidates have to enter their personal details. After completing the rounds of seat allotment, the students are needed to report for document verification and submission of tuition fee for provisional admission. The round 3 counselling of WBJEE Medical 2016 will begin from September 21, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. and will continue till 4:00 pm on September 30, 2016.
Candidates should follow the below steps for the online counselling procedure:
Step 1: Online Registration
1. For WBJEE 2016 Medical counselling online registration, the applicant is required to visit the official website of WBJEE 2016 counselling and click on “New Candidate Registration”.
2. Candidates have to enter their personal details such as WBJEE Roll Number, Application Form Number, Name of the candidate, Date of Birth and a Security Pin.
3. After the registration is completed successfully, an ID and password will be generated for the students’ perusal.
4. The candidate must note these login credentials for future use. Candidates are hereby informed that they will be required to pay an amount of Rs. 510 to complete the registration process of WBJEE 2016 counselling.
Step 2: Choice Filling
In this step, the students need to log into their account by using their ID and Password which was generated in the preceding step. The candidates can then select their choice of WBJEE participating colleges and courses.
Please make sure to be careful to lock their final choices before the deadline.
Step 3: Seat Allotment
After the students have filled in their choices, they will be allocated seats as per their ranks and preference. WBJEE seat allotment procedure is also online. The students will be able to check the seats allotted to them by logging into their accounts.
Step 4: Reporting and Document Verification
This is the next step in the counselling procedure and is compulsory. The aspirants who have been allotted a seat will then be required to physically report at the Reporting Centre (RC).
Along with the initial admission fee of amount Rs. 5000 and for the TFW (Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme) Candidates is Rs. 4000. The candidates are required to carry all the mandatory documents to the reporting center such as follows:
a. Duly filled up verification form
b. Age proof (birth certificate/class 10 admit card or certificate)
c. Reporting the centre copy of the e-challan form showing the bank transaction ID
d. Class 12 mark sheet
e. SC/ST/OBC/PH certificate (if applicable)
f. Medical Certificate
g. Domicile certificate
h. Allotment letter
Step 5: Confirmation and Admission
The final step for the students is to personally visit the institute that has been allocated to them for completing admission formalities. If the student is unable to report at the stated institute, the provisional admission of such candidate will be cancelled.
