NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
NATA 2018 Application Form will be out in the month of January. Interested candidates can get the form from the official website, www.nata.in and the exam is to be held tentatively in April 2018. From the year 2017, NATA exam is to be held only once in a year.
NATA 2018, (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) will be managed by the Council of Architecture (COA). The application process consists of the following step:
Candidates need to keep their documents such as ID proof, educational qualification and photographs ready before filling the form. A minimum time of one month is given to submit the application form since it release. Any discrepancies in the application process can be corrected by following the guidelines provided in the brochure or by contacting the authority.
Candidates can register themselves for NATA 2018 via online mode, the printed version of the form is not available. The authority will allow candidates to register them from January, 2018 onward. They should keep a printout of their application form for future reference. By following the procedure mentioned below candidates can register themselves online for NATA 2018:
There are three basic steps to be followed to complete the form filling process:
Before applying for NATA 2018, candidates must carefully read the instructions and procedure for submission of the online application form. After going through all the points, candidates can proceed to fill up the application form. You need to click the “NATA profile”. The basic information is to be filled and scanned copies of your photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression in the given format are to be uploaded.

Step 1- Filling up of Application Form
The first step includes filling up of personal details followed by document uploading and payment of the fee. In the first step, candidates have to enter the following details:
Course and Exam city options:
Educational Details (Class X or equivalent):
Details of Education (Post class X):
After entering all the details above, candidates are advised to review the form before final submission. Once the application is submitted, an application number of 7 digits will be generated. Aspirants must make sure to note it down along with the password and security question and answer. The application number and password is required in every process following the exam for subsequent logins.
Step 2-Uploading of required images
Candidates have to upload the scanned copies of images mentioned below. They must ensure that the images are in the following format:
|Photograph||4 kb-100 kb||3.5 cm X 4.5 cm||.jpg/ .jpeg|
|Left Thumb Impression||1 kb-30 kb||3.5 cm X 1.5 cm||.jpg/ .jpeg|
|Signature||1 kb-30 kb||3.5 cm X 1.5 cm||.jpg/ .jpeg|
After uploading the images, candidates have to enter the security pin and click on the “upload” button.
Step 3- Payment of fees
In order to validate the form, candidates have to pay INR 1250 online as application fee via Debit card/ Credit card or Net Banking. Candidates have to enter the account details and make the transaction. As soon as it is complete, a receipt will be generated containing details of the transaction.
Once the payment is successfully made, the confirmation page will be generated automatically. Candidates must take a print out of the confirmation page as a proof of payment.
Important documents that should be kept ready before starting the registration process are as follows-
The registration fee for all the applicants is INR 1250. Candidates can pay the fee either online (Credit/Debit/ Net Banking) or offline (cash payment at any branch of ICICI bank). Additional charges will also have to be paid as mentioned in the official website. Next step is paying the NATA registration fee by clicking the button “PAY NATA FEES”. After making payment, candidates need to click the submit button.
All the candidates have the option to retrieve their NATA 2018 Candidate ID. They can simply follow the steps mentioned below:
Applicants can check the status of their application form by logging in the official site. Put your application number and password in the input box and click ‘submit’. The complete application form will be displayed.
Candidates will be able to view their application form. Any empty field will be marked red and complete fields will be marked green. A message will be displayed if payment is incomplete or pending. Candidates are required to make the required changes to submit the completely filled form.
If candidates have made a mistake in the application form, then they will be able to correct their mistake in the third week of February, 2018 as a 6 day window would be provided to rectify the same.
