NMAT 2018 Result

NMAT 2018 Results will be declared in the 3rd week of January 2019. NMAT 2018 Results can be checked online at www.nmat.org.in. Graduate Management Aptitude Council (GMAC) will announce the results on its official website. Candidates will need to enter their email address and password to check their NMAT results.

GMAC will conduct NMAT 2018 from the 1st week of October 2018 to the third week of December 2018 in an online mode. The notification for the release of the result will be sent through mail to the candidates individually.

The following details will be present in the NMAT 2018 Score Card:

•  Personal Detail

•  Final Score for each section

•  Total Score

•  Percentile Marking

Candidates qualifying the minimum criteria set by the GMAC will be eligible to participate in NMAT 2018 Counselling. The merit list is prepared based on the score of NMAT 2018 examination.


Dates for NMAT 2018 Results

NMAT 2018 Examination will be conducted from the 1st week of October to the 3rd week of December 2018. NMAT 2018 Results are expected to be declared by the third week of January 2019. Registration for Personal Interview and Case Discussion (PI/CD) will start from the 3rd week of January to the last week of January 2019.

GMAC will conduct PI/CD rounds from the 1st week of February to the 3rd week of February 2019. Students can check here the tentative dates of NMAT 2018 entrance exam:

How to Check NMAT 2018 Result?

GMAC shall release the NMAT 2018 Result via online mode through the official website. It will be announced in the 3rd week of January 2019. Candidates can check their results by entering their email address and other required details in the website.

The steps to check the results of the online test are as follows:

•  Candidates have to go to the official website, www.nmat.org.in

•  Click on the link “NMAT 2018 Results”

•  After clicking on the link, enter email address and password to log in to the account.

•  After furnishing all the details, candidates will be redirected to their NMAT 2018 Score Card

•  Check all particulars mentioned in NMAT 2018 Result and take a print out of it

Note: NMAT 2018 Scorecard will also be mailed to the institutes of candidate’s choice.

Details on NMAT 2018 Score Card

NMAT 2018 Scorecard is one of the most important documents for the candidates who wish to take admissions in various MBA and PGDM courses offered by different institutes through NMAT. NMAT Scorecard along with the NMAT Admit card is one of the essential document which will be required during NMAT 2018 Counselling Process.

NMAT 2018 Score Card will carry following information:

•  Candidate’s Name

•  Mother's Name

•  Father's Name

•  Gender

•  Date of Birth

•  Category/Sub-category

•  Application Number

•  Candidate’s roll number

•  Marks secured in each Section

•  Percentile Score in each Section

•  NMAT Scaled scores

•  NMAT percentile scores

•  NMAT historical percentile scores.


Normalization of Scores

NMAT 2018 Score Card will have three kinds of scores:

• NMAT 2018 Scaled Scores: All the test forms are equated to determine any difference in overall difficulty, and the scores of NMAT 2018 are placed in a common place. This score represents that the scores are not impacted by different candidates getting different test forms.

• NMAT 2018 Percentile Scores: This score denotes that how the candidate scored when compared to all other candidates who took the NMAT 2018 exam.

• NMAT 2018 Historical Percentile scores: This score indicate how a candidate has performed in comparison to all other candidates who took the NMAT examination in the previous year.  


NMAT 2018 Answer Key

NMAT 2018 Answer Key will be released soon after the exams are over. Candidates who will appear in NMAT 2018, can check the official website for NMAT official answer key 2018. It must be noted that the candidates’ answer sheets of NMAT 2018 will also be available to download. Thus, candidates are advised to download their NMAT 2018 answer sheet as soon as released so that they can match their responses with official answer key and analyze their performance in the entrance exam. In order to download official NMAT 2018 Answer key, candidates will have to enter their registration number and password.


NMAT 2018 Merit List

NMAT 2018 Merit List of the qualified and successful candidates will be prepared by GMAC on the basis of score obtained in NMAT 2018. Based on the merit list, candidates will be called for the NMAT 2018 Selection Process.

NMAT 2018 Cutoff 

NMAT Cutoff is the minimum score required to secure admission in the various courses offered by various institute through NMAT.

NMAT cut off will depend on a lot of factors such as:

  • The number of applicants,
  • The number of seats available,
  • Previous year cut off marks
  • Difficulty levels of the entrance test.

NMAT 2018 cut off will be published few days after the declaration of NMAT 2018 Results. GMAC will publish the cut-off score range as the examination section. The scores will be included as a scaled score for each section of the test, total score as well as a percentile ranking. Mentioned below are the score ranges possible on the different sections of the exam:

Only those students who will score more than the cutoff marks will be considered as qualified candidates and will be called for further NMAT 2018 Selection Process i.e. Personal Interview and Case Discussion.


NMAT 2018 Selection Process

Candidates who wish to take admission in MBA and PGDM courses through NMAT will be required to go through different rounds of the selection process for final selection. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in NMAT 2018 Online Test. The Merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks scored by the candidates in the examination.

Candidates in NMAT 2018 Merit List will be called for the Personal Interview & Case Discussion rounds. All the shortlisted candidates will have to get their call letter from the official website of NMAT. No separate call letter will be sent to the candidates through email or via post.

PI & CD rounds will be organised in Mumbai & Bangalore campus. Candidates will have to bring their NMAT 2018 Admit Card & call letter for this round. After the completion of CD & PI round, the final merit list will be released. NMAT 2018 final merit list will be prepared on the basis of candidates’ academic records, NMAT score, work experience and performance in CD & PI rounds. Provisional seat will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of the final merit list. The final selection of the candidate will be based on the overall performance of the candidate in all the selection phases.
