NMAT 2018 Application Form

NMAT 2018 Application Form will be available online at the official website of NMAT, starting from July 2018. The process of filling the application form will be online only. Aspirants interested in applying for admission in programs like Regular MBA, MBA (HR), MBA (Capital market), MBA (Banking), MBA (pharmaceutical management) at Mumbai campus or a 2 year full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) at Hyderabad and Bengaluru Campuses can register themselves on the official website.

Application Form for NMAT 2018 must be filled with utmost importance as it will be used to create profile for students in the exam. Candidates will have to pay an application fee of INR 1600 along with applicable taxes in early stage to complete their registration.  A fee of INR 2000 has to be paid in case of late registration.

Graduate Management Aptitude Council (GMAC) conducts this exam for admission in MBA/PGDM. Aspirants need to qualify NMAT 2018 to get shortlisted for PI/CD round of the process. Candidates must first check their eligibility to fill NMAT 2018 Application Form. This exam is conducted once in a year. All required information regarding the exam can be found below.

NMAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria before applying for NMAT 2018. Any candidates found not satisfying the eligibility criteria will be removed from the process thereafter.

Mentioned below are the eligibility criteria:

For MBA HR (Mumbai Campus)

  • Qualification Exam: Aspirant must have a Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university.
  • Minimum Marks: Candidate must have scored at least 50% marks or equivalent to apply for the exam.
  • Appearing candidates can also apply for the same.

For MBA Pharmaceutical Management (Mumbai Campus)

  • Qualifying exam: Candidates must have completed their Bachelor degree in any stream or post-graduation degree.
  • Subjects: Candidate must have qualified bachelor degree in pharmacy, MBBS, BDS, Life Sciences, Science, BHMS, BAMS, B.Sc & M.Sc in Biotechnology or post graduate degree in Economics, Psychology & Sociology.
  • Minimum Marks: Candidate must have a minimum score of at least 50% in Bachelor and post graduate degree to apply for the exam.
  • Appearing candidates can also apply for the exam.
  • Candidate who have worked or currently working in a pharmaceutical company having a prior experience of more than 2 years can also apply. This work experience will be a plus for them in PI round.
  • Candidates appearing for the qualifying exam can also apply

For PGDM (Hyderabad & in Bangalore Campus)

  • Qualifying Exam: Candidate must have qualified bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Minimum Marks: Candidate must have secured at least 50% or equivalent to apply for the exam
  • Candidates appearing for the qualifying exam can also apply


  • Applicant must be an Indian & should have completed his/her graduation in India.
  • NRI/foreign candidates can also apply but they need to fill the separate application form for the same.

How to Fill NMAT 2018 Application Form?

Before filling NMAT 2018 Application Form, candidates must read the information brochure carefully. Application form for NMAT 2018 will be available online from the 1st week of July 2018 (tentatively).

To fill NMAT 2018 Application Form, candidates must follow the following simple steps:

Step 1: Registration

Fresh candidates applying for the exam are required to register with a fresh email id and contact number at the website using the mentioned steps.

  • Go to the official link of NMAT by GMAC i.e.
  • Click on “New User” tab to get registration form.
  • After email id gets registered, candidate have to login again to complete the registration process.
  • When you logged in, you will finally land up on the page where you need to fill all the required details for registration process.
  • Enter the required details and press submit.
  • The system will auto generate you a registration number and mail the same at your registered email id and contact number for documentation and verification.

Step 2: Form Filling

This is the step where you actually provide all the details that creates your profile for the test. It helps the authorities judge your eligibility, your medical standards, previous educational qualifications and other important details.

  • Once registration process gets completed candidates need to check their mail id to get the password.
  • Candidate needs to login again as a registered user by entering registered id and password.
  • Fill all the required information in application form carefully.
  • Candidate must note down the application number.
  • Once completing the application process candidate can select the slot for exam in schedule/reschedule exam category. 

Step 3: Uploading Images

This is the final step in creating a profile for the exam. Photograph and signature should be scanned and uploaded and thus one can be easily identified and thus it makes the process smooth.

  • Upload the scanned images.
  • Candidates need to select the mode of payment to pay the application fee.
  • After completing the application form, candidates must take a print out of application form & keep it safe for further process.
  • Candidate must retain the registered email id and mobile number till the admission process gets completed.

Mode of payment: Candidates can pay the exam fee via online mode (i.e. credit card/ debit card/ net banking) or via offline mode (i.e. demand draft).

Application Fee: Aspirants need to pay an application fee of INR 1600 for timely registration. For late registration, candidates need to pay INR 2000 as Application fee to get a slot for NMAT 2018.

NMAT 2018 Application Form Correction

Edit option for submitted NMAT 2018 Application Form is expected to be available from the last week of July 2018. The window for editing mistakes in NMAT 2018 Application Form will stay live till the 2nd week of December 2018. Facility for correction of mistakes will be available for students who has completed the online application process in all aspects i.e. Paid Examination Fee and Submitted Online.

All Students must note that they can change all data in NMAT 2018 Application Form Except Email ID, Mobile Number, Date of Birth and Address Details.

Retrieving Application Form and Other Details

NMAT 2018 is conducted by GMAC which communicates through registered email ID and contact number. In case candidates miss out their Application Form number or any other such details, they need to contact the concerned authority.
