NMAT 2018 Admit Card

NMAT 2018 Admit card will be available only online on the official web address of NMAT, www.nmat.org.in. After the completion of registration, an e-mail will be sent to the registered mail ID of candidates which will include the link for downloading both the payment confirmation and Admit Card. Applicants can also access their admit cards by logging in the GMAC website.

NMAT 2018 registration will start from July 2018 onwards and will end in October 2018. The exam will be conducted within 75 days of the closing of the Application Form. Thus, the admit card will also be given with prior to the commencement of examination.

The following details will be present in NMAT 2018 Admit Card:

  • Details of the applicant
  • Registration number
  • Examination venue and time
  • Photograph and signature of the candidate

The admit card is an integral document for appearing for the NMAT 2018 examination. The candidates need to carry one of their valid identity proof along with the admit card to the examination hall. Candidates who fail to produce the required documents will not be allowed to appear for the entrance. In case of any admit card related discrepancies, candidates must contact the GMAC help-desk.

How to Download NMAT 2018 Admit Card?

Candidates are eligible to download the admit card only after successful completion of the registration. In order to download the admit card the aspirants should follow the subsequent steps:

  • At first candidates must open the required window for downloading NMAT 2018 admit card.
  • Enter the respective login-Id and password on the desired boxes of the window and click on the “login” button.
  • You will be redirected to a page where you will find the link to download the admit card.
  • Click on the link, and the admit card will be automatically downloaded to your computer as a pdf file.
  • Open the pdf file and go through it once in order to check the details mentioned in the admit card.
  • In case of any error contact the conducting authority immediately.
  • After checking the details take a few print-out of it for future reference.

Details Mentioned in the Admit Card 

Admit card functions as the identity proof of the candidate. Thus, if a candidate is found without an admit card then he/she will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

NMAT 2018 Admit Card will comprise of the following details:

  • Name of the aspirant
  • Registration number of the aspirant
  • Date of the examination.
  • Time of the examination.
  • Examination venue as allotted to the aspirant.
  • The date of birth of the candidate.
  • Gender of the respective applicant
  • Details of the exam.
  • Important instruction that the candidates should follow (at the back of the admit card).
  • Candidate’s photo (clear and identifiable)
  • Candidate’s signature.

Documents Required with NMAT 2018 Admit Card

The following documents must be carried by the candidates on the day of NMAT exam along with the admit cards. If any candidate fails to do so, then he/she may be barred from appearing in the respective exam.

  • A print out of the confirmation mail which is sent to the candidate to their respective email-Id.
  • Admit Card: It is mandatory for the candidates to download NMAT 2018 Admit Card from their respective GMAC account and carry it on the exam day.
  • Any one of the aspirant’s photo ID and a signature ID (the original version) must be produced at the examination centre along with the admit card. No photocopies of the above-mentioned documents will be permitted.

The list of the IDs that candidates can bring along is given below:

Photo identity proofs (including candidate’s name and photo)

  • Passport issued by the Government of India
  • PAN Card issued by the Government of India    
  • Voter’s ID Card
  • Aadhar Card

Signature identity proofs (including candidate’s name and signature)

  • Passport issued by the Government of India
  • PAN Card issued by the Government of India
  • Debit/Credit Card
  • Driver’s License

Note: The following documents are not considered as Ids in place of any of the above-mentioned documents on the exam day:

  • Learner’s Driver’s License
  • Attested photocopies of any of the mentioned documents.
  • Notarised copies.

In case of candidates appearing from International Centres, the documents they need to carry on the NMAT exam day:

  • The print out of the confirmation mail
  • Admit card as issued to the candidate by GMAC
  • The original valid passport which has not yet expired and its photocopy.

Discrepancies in NMAT 2018 Admit Card

Candidates can access their NMAT 2018 Admit Card by logging in their respective GMAC account. Once the admit card appears on the screen it is recommended to the candidates to check the admit card thoroughly before taking a print out of it. In case of any error or discrepancy contact the GMAC helpdesk authority immediately.

Important Instructions

The instructions mentioned in the back of the admit card should be read by the candidate before appearing for NMAT 2018 Examination. Candidate must abide by those instructions on the exam day:

  • Candidates must reach the examination venue at least 45 minutes before the beginning of the exam.
  • Post entry to the examination hall, a welcome screen will appear on their computer screen. Besides, that a non-disclosure agreement will pop-up. All the candidates must click the “Yes I accept” tab in order to proceed for the test.
  • If any candidate is interested to sit for the re-test then he/she must conserve the NMAT 2018 Admit Card. This is because the same admit card is needed to be produced at the exam day.
  • Examinee must attempt the entire question within the specific time allotted to them. Once, it is done the candidates cannot re-visit the section.
  • Candidates should sign at the all the designated spaces.
  • Candidates cannot carry forward the time allotted to one section to the other.
  • Once the exam is over, the candidates cannot leave the exam premises as the long the invigilator asks them to.
  • No electronic gadgets are permitted.
  • Candidates need to leave their belongings before entering the examination hall.
  • Stuffs other than the required ones should be left outside the examination hall.

If any suspected behavior of a candidate is detected within the exam hall then the candidature of that aspirant will be cancelled. Legal actions may be taken against that candidate if decided by the authority.
