NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE/OFFLINE TEST
All India Management Association, AIMA New Delhi released important dates for September Session of MAT. The exam will be conducted in September, 2017. Registration Process is ongoing and the last date to apply for MAT is August 25, 2017. All Graduates with Marks above 50% in Bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply. MAT 2017 will be conducted in Online & Offline Mode. MAT Exam is conducted four times a year (February, May, September, and December). MAT result for the last session was declared on May 24, 2017.
MAT (Management Aptitude Test) is a standard aptitude test conducted in India since 1998 by the All India Management Association(AIMA). MAT is used for admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) and allied programmes by over 600 business schools across India.
MAT is conducted four times in a year i.e. January, May, September and December. A complete schedule of the details related to the Application form, Registration, Admit Card and Test for September session are as given below:

For applying in MAT 2017, candidates must fulfill the following MAT Eligibility conditions to avoid any rejection:
MAT Application Process is available in both online and offline modes. The candidates can apply for admission by filling and submitting the complete application form along with important documents on or before the last date. Candidates can apply either use online or offline mode which is explained as below:
Online mode: Candidate can obtain and submit the application form online through the official website of AIMA. Students need to ready their necessary documents at the time of filling online application form.

Offline mode: Students can also obtain the application form from the study centres of AIMA office, Delhi on cash payment of prescribed fees and fill the form manually.

The total amount of application fees to be paid by the candidate is Rs. 1200/- and is same for all category candidates. An application fee submitted by the candidates is non-refundable.
MAT is an objective type entrance test. MAT Exam Pattern is divided into 5 sections comprising of 200 Objective-type questions. The time duration of the examination is 2 hours and 30 minutes i.e. 150 minutes. In MAT 2017, every correct answer will be awarded 1 mark. However, for every incorrect answer, there will be the deduction of 0.25 or 1/4th marks. The candidate is advised to answer only the questions which he/she is sure to avoid the negative marking.
Offline test mode: It is also known as Paper Based test (PBT) and is held only on one day i.e. September 3, 2017. The test will be conducted in an OMR Answer sheet. Questions will be of multiple choices (MCQ) type and will be answered with the help of Pencil.
Online test mode: It is also named as Computer Based test (CBT). If the number of candidates is limited for Computer-Based test it can be done in one day. Candidates have to appear for the Paper-based test if few numbers of candidates register for the CBT in particular centre.
Exam duration is 2 hours
Each Correct Answer will be awarded 1 mark
0.25 mark is deducted for every wrong answer.

There are 200 questions in the exam
