The duration of the examination has been increased by 10 minutes, from 170 minutes to 180 minutes.
The duration of the exam will be 180 minutes or 3 hours. There will be 3 sections to be attempted. Examinees will not be allowed to shift from one section to another while attempting questions of a particular section. Students will be given exact 60 minutes to attempt each section.
There will be 100 questions in total. Even though CAT Notification 2016 is out, there are doubts associated with the exact number of questions and marking scheme. All these queries will be answered after the test taking tutorial will be released on 18th October, 2016.
With the dates out and changes in the exam, the pressure on students is building day by day. They now need to pull their socks up and press the accelerator at full speed.
