SPJIMR Selection Process

There are 2 possible ways of selection. So, either you will be called on the basis of your profile or score.

Profile Based Calls – Here, they call you based on your profile (as CAT results are not out by that time). However, the criteria here is that you need a minimum of 85 percentile overall and a sectional of 70%ile in all sections, else your call becomes invalid. Also, you can get a call based on GMAT score for which the minimum percentile required is 650.

For profile based calls SPJIMR closely observes your academics, extra-curricular activities, achievements and relevant work experience.

Score Based Calls - Once the results are declared, calls are made on the basis of CAT & XAT & GMAT Scores. A 95 in CAT/XAT and a 700 on GMAT should be good enough.

SP Jain receives around 15,000 applications every year out of which around 3000-5000 candidates are called for the next round of process. For their flagship PGDM 2017-19 batch, SPJIMR will have an intake of 240 Indian Nationals. For the Foreign Nationals and PIO/OCI, there will be about 36 seats available.
