STATE LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
JEECE (Jharkhand Engineering Entrance Competitive Exam) will be conducted from this year for admission to B.Tech and B.E program from this year onwards. JCECEB (Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Exam Board) is the organizing body for JEECE.
It was initially scheduled to be conducted on May 07, 2017. Since the dates of JEECE and NEET 2017 clashed, so JEECE was postponed. The exam will now be conducted on May 13, 2017. Only local or permanent residents of Jharkhand can apply for the exam.
JEECE Admit Cards are available on the official website. Last date to download the admit card is May 13, 2017. It is mandatory to carry the JEECE Admit Card to the allotted exam center along with a valid ID proof. Also, print multiple copies of the admit card to avoid discrepancies later. JEECE is conducted for one subject group- PCM. The exam is scheduled for May 13, 2017 in offline mode. The important features of JEECE Exam Pattern are enlisted below:

JEECE has now been declared to be the engineering entrance exam in Jharkhand from the academic year 2017-18. Given below a synopsis of the JEECE Exam:

JEECE has been introduced by JCECE Board this year for admission to B.Tech/B.E. program in Jharkhand. The exam was initially scheduled on May 07, 2017 but it has been now postponed to May 13, 2017. Given below is the tentative schedule for JEECE 2017:

In order to appear for JEECE 2017, candidates are required to fulfill the eligibility conditions laid down by the JCECEB. The conditions of eligibility specify the nationality of the candidate, educational qualifications as well as fitness requirement for JEECE 2017. The details regarding eligibility for JEECE 2017 are as follows:
Candidates who wish to appear for JEECE 2017 must be national of India and local resident of Jharkhand.
The educational qualification required to sit for JEECE 2017 is that the candidates must have acquired at least 45% marks in 10+2 examinations with Physics and Mathematics as main subject along with chemistry. A relaxation of up to 5% aggregate marks is given to the candidates belonging to the reserved category.
Before the admission process is realized, candidates will have to appear for a medical test which will be conducted by the Board or the allocated institution. Candidates need to pass the fitness test in order to get admission to B. Tech program.
JEECE 2017 Application Form will be filled through online mode only. Those who wish to apply will have to visit the official website of the board and click on the link “Online Application for JEECE 2017”. It is mandatory to have scanned copy of the required documents such as, Marksheet of 10+2 examination, passport size photograph, signatures, and Left hand thumb impression.
Note that only one application is accepted from a candidate. Multiple applications will be rejected straightaway. The last date to apply online is April 24, 2017. The application fee payable for JEECE 2017 is INR 900 for General/ BC-I and BC- II category while INR 450 must be paid by Reserved category candidates and females.
JEECE 2017 Application process includes Registration Process, Filling Application Form, Uploading the required documents and finally payment of Application Fee. The details regarding each step have been described below:
JEECE 2017 Admit Card is now available on the official website of JCECEB. Those who have filled the application form successfully can obtain the admit card through online mode only, no correspondence will be done via offline mode.
Information such as Candidate’s name, Roll Number, Photograph, Date of Birth, Exam Venue, Exam Date, Timings, etc. shall be enclosed in the admit card. The admission of candidates to the examination hall will be on the basis of acquirement of the JEECE 2017 Admit Card.

JEECE will be conducted at 6 different test cities located in Jharkhand. Here are the details related to the JEECE Exam Center
JEECE 2017 Exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 7, 2017 from 10:15 AM to 1: 30 PM. The question paper will pose questions, both in English as well as Hindi language. It comprises 150 questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The questions are objective in nature. One mark will be awarded for every correct answer and one-fourth marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. JEECE 2017 Exam Pattern has been given below for the convenience of the candidates:
Exam duration is 3 hours
Each Correct Answer will be awarded 4 marks
0.25 mark is deducted for every wrong answer.

Note that the syllabus covered under JEECE 2017 Exam will be based on common syllabus of CBSE for class 12. Candidates must prepare for the subject group PCM, according to the syllabus covered by CBSE.
JEECE 2017 Results are expected to be out within a month of the commencement of the examination. candidates who will appear for the examination on May 7, 2017 can obtain their results from the official website of Board in fourth week of May, 2017. The steps to download the JEECE 2017 Results are:
Once the results are declared, a merit list will be prepared on the basis of the results obtained by the candidates. The list will include combined merit list and category wise merit list. If two two or more candidates obtained equal marks, then JCECE Board determines a sequence of preference for inter-se merit. Candidates with higher score in Mathematics or Physics are considered first. If it is no resolved then candidates with older in age will be preferred.
The counselling process will be conducted in two rounds- first round of counselling and second round of counselling. After the declaration of JEECE 2017 Results, the shortlisted candidates will have to attend the first round of counselling as per the information provided on the board website. If the seats remain vacant, second round of counselling will be conducted. The computerized parallel counselling will be conducted by the JCECE Board. More information regarding counselling will be updated soon on the official website after JCECE Results are declared. Qualifying candidates are requested to go through the information bulletin for appearing in the counselling.

The cut off is determined on the basis of number of candidates appeared for JEECE 2017 exam, level of difficulty and availability of seats. The admission to the candidates is given on the basis of the cut off. If a candidate qualifies to the cut off set by the board, he/she will be called for counselling process.
