NEET 2018 Seats Intake

NEET opens up almost 63,800 seats for candidates wishing to pursue MBBS and BDS. Seats will be allotted to candidates on the basis of their rank, score and the cutoff set by institutes. The institute allotted will also depend on the choices filled by the candidates in their online NEET counselling form. To stay updated, check out the release of latest notification for NEET. 

Seat Intake in Assam

For admission in colleges of Assam, candidates must apply for Assam State Counselling which comes under the Director of Medical Education. Check Your CBSE NEET Result. Overall, there are 93 seats for MBBS in 5 medical colleges and 6 for BDS. Here is a list of the colleges you can apply to.

Ques. Can Foreign Nationals apply for NEET? What is the eligibility requirement?

Ans. Yes, Foreign National can apply for NEET 2018. Students applying as Foreign Nationals must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English in Class XII with 50% marks, as per regulations of the Medical Council of India and the concerned University.

Ques. Who can appear in NEET for 15% All India Quota Seats?

Ans. Candidates from the following categories can apply for NEET 2018- • Indian Nationals • Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) • Overseas Citizen of India (OCIs) • Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) • Foreign Nationals are eligible to appear in NEET (UG)-2018 for 15% All India Quota Seats.

Ques. If a candidate is opting Oriya as a medium of question paper, would he be eligible for 15% All India Quota?

Ans. Candidates qualifying NEET would be eligible for All India Quota and other quotas under the State Governments/Institutes, irrespective of the medium in which the examination is taken by a candidate, subject to other eligibility criteria.

Ques. Against which all seats will the admission be made?

Ques. Who is responsible for 15% All India Quota seat allotment process?

Ans. Once the NEET 2018 result is released 15% AIQ seats will be managed by MCC of Directorate General of Health Service (DGHS) through online mode.
