NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
NEET Exam Dates 2018- As per the official notification, CBSE will organize National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) on May 6. The national level exam is the gateway to the top-notch medical and dental colleges/ universities in India.
CBSE finally released notification for NEET 2018 on February 08. NEET Application Form is available now. The last date to apply is March 9. Candidates securing the minimum qualifying marks can apply for NEET (previously known as AIPMT).
CBSE will declare the final result for NEET 2018 on June 5. Qualifying candidates will participate in the counselling rounds from 12 June onwards. The final date of joining will be in the last week of August.
The notification for NEET 2018, containing all important dates and details, has been released. CBSE published the notification at its official website on February 8. The last date to register is March 9. Candidates clearing the exam will be called for NEET Counsellung from June 12 onwards.

Application Form for NEET has been released by CBSE on the official website. Candidates will be required to register on the website and submit their details like Name, Date of Birth, Educational Qualification, Parents’ Details, Choice of Exam Center, etc. The application fee is INR 1400 for General & OBC Category. There will be a brief window for correction of the application form as well.

Candidates can download their NEET Admit Card from 2nd week of April 2018 onwards. The exam will be conducted on May 6 in offline mode. Candidates are given 3 hours to solve 180 questions (45 from Physics, 45 from Chemistry and 90 from Biology). NEET Exam Syllabus is of class XI and XII. The Answer Key and OMR Sheet will be uploaded on the website a few days after the exam with which candidates can calculate their NEET score.

Result for NEET is expected to be announced on June 5, 2018. Candidates who opted for All India Quota Counselling need to register themselves for online counselling on the official website of MCC, comprising 2 rounds. Seats will be allotted as per the candidates’ category, rank and NEET Cut off.
For State Quota, candidates must contact their respective state counselling authority. If the candidates do not claim their seat within the stipulated duration, it will be allotted to the next candidate waiting in the list and they will not be eligible for further rounds of counselling.

Ques. Who conducts NEET and is it online or offline in 2018?
Ans. CBSE conducts NEET in offline mode in 2018.
Ques. What are the maximum marks in NEET exam?
Ans. Each question in NEET will have 4 marks. Therefore, maximum marks in the exam are 720.
Ques. Is there a provision of negative marking for incorrect questions in NEET?
Ans. Yes, for each incorrect response, 1 mark will be deducted from your total score.
Ques. Is there negative marking for un-attempted questions?
Ans. No, there is not negative marking for leaving questions. No mark will be added to or deducted from your score for leaving any question.
Ques. How much time will I be given to complete the exam?
Ans. You will be given 3 hours (180 minutes) to complete the exam.
Ques. Are there any sectional time limits in NEET?
Ans. No, there are no such sectional limits in NEET. You can spend any amount of time (from total time given) on any particular section or question.
Ques. How many questions will be there in the exam?
Ans. NEET will have a total of 180 questions.
Ques. What subjects do I need to prepare for the exam?
Ans. You need to prepare Phyiscs, Chemistry & Biology(Zoology &Botany) subjects for the NEET exam.
Ques. I am physically challenged, what is my exam duration in NEET?
Ans. NEET exam paper will be of 3 hours duration, for PH students it is 3.5 hours.
Ques. Can I change the option of language once the form is submitted?
Ans. Option once exercised, cannot be changed after submission of application form. As centers will be allotted based on medium of question paper, candidates need to be very careful in choosing of medium of question paper.
