NATA 2018 RESULT & COUNSELLING
NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
NATA 2018 Results will be declared on June 01. Results will be available in the official website, www.nata.in. No other mode to download the result will be available.
NATA 2018 results will be valid for the 2018-2019 admission session only. NATA 2018 Results will be valid for two years since the date of issuing of the same. The result will contain information in 3 formats:
Candidate can attempt the NATA exam a maximum of five times during two years. However, only the best score out of all the attempts would be counted.
NATA 2018 Paper 1 tests the candidates for Mathematics and General Aptitude while Paper 2 would be a drawing test. There is a total of 62 questions (30 Mathematics, 30 General aptitude, and 2 Drawing section) of total 200 marks and the time allotted would be 180 minutes.
Candidates will be able to download their NATA 2018 score card after 2 months from the day the exam was conducted. Candidates can check their result and download the score card by following the below-mentioned steps:
The score card of NATA 2018 would contain details regarding the marks scored by candidates in the both the papers
Apart from that, candidate’s rank will he also be mentioned on the score card of NATA 2018. The score card will also contain the percentile score based on the cut-off and tie-breaking score.
The score card will also contain the name of the candidate, roll number/application number and date of examination.
Merit list would be prepared based on the performance of the candidates in both the papers. Candidates are required to score a minimum of 25% marks in Paper-1 MCQs (Mathematics and General aptitude) and Paper-2 Drawing Section. Apart from that, the candidates would also be required to qualify the overall combined cut-off set by the conducting authority in order to get their name in the merit list. In case two or more candidates get the same marks, tie-breaking standards would be applicable to determine the rank of the candidate in the merit list. The tie-breaking standards are explained below.
If there still exists a tie after application of the above-mentioned standard then the same rank will be allotted to the respective candidates.
Candidates are required to score a minimum of 40% of the total marks in order to qualify the NATA 2018 exam (that is 80 0ut of 200 marks). However, it is to be noted that these 40% qualifying limit will be applicable only if a candidate obtains the minimum 25% qualifying marks in both paper 1 and paper 2.

In order to take admissions in 5 year B.Arch program offered by various government and private institutions participating in NATA 2018, candidates will be required to fill an online application for the counselling. Candidates can apply for the application for counseling by registering themselves at the official website of NATA 2018. Candidates would be required to pay the fee as per NATA 2018 official notifications. After making the application the candidates would be allowed to lock their choices and preferences.
