NATA 2017 is an entrance test for candidates seeking to get admission into 1st year of undergraduate degree course in Architecture in India.
The test is designed to assess a candidate’s observation skills, drawing skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and the ability of an applicant to think critically, which are altogether an important concept for getting admission in Bachelor of Architecture. A student must possess these qualities to qualify NATA 2017 with a good score.
As NATA Score is used by admission authorities of different Government, Government aided and unaided schools or colleges that offer Bachelor degree in Architecture. NATA is taken to provide a common base to compare the qualifications of the candidates, in addition to their scores in the qualifying examination.

Ques. I am an NRI student. Am I eligible to take the exam from my country of residence?
Ans. No, you are required to register in India for NATA exam and appear for it from any of the designated exam center in India. Admissions are provided by the respective admission authorities (colleges/ universities) as per their guidelines.
Ques. If I belong to reserved category (SC/ ST/ NT etc), will I get score waiver fot NATA at the time of final admissions?
Ans. No, as per standards laid out by CoA, there is no provision of the same.
Ques. What is NATA Eligibility for admission to B.Arch. and can students with mathematics and commerce as their subject are eligible to appear for NATA?
Ans. The eligibility for admission, it is necessary to have a minimum of 50% marks in 10+ 2 in any stream (Commerce/ PCM) with maths as a subject and 40% marks in NATA Exam.
