MH CET/MHT CET 2018 Result, Merit List & Cutoff

MH CET 2018 will be conducted by DTE Maharashtra to admit eligible candidates to various engineering, health science, law and management courses. MH CET 2018 is a state level test which will be conducted in the month of May, 2018. The online MH CET 2018 Application forms can be accessed from the official website of DTE Maharashtra.

  • Candidates, if applying for Bachelor’s degree, must have passed class 12th examination from a recognized board.
  • For PG courses candidates must obtain their bachelor’s degree from recognized university. Check MH CET Eligibility 
  • The exam for all the UG courses and Law courses will be conducted through offline mode i.e. it is a pen-paper based test. Check MH CET Exam Pattern 
  • Candidates will appear for computer based test for MBA course.
  • The preparation for MH CET 2018 must be done on the basis of qualifying examination.
  • Questions from Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Chemistry will be asked for Engineering, Pharmacy and Health Sciences of class 12th level. In case of MCA, topics taught in BCA will be covered.
  • MH CET 2018 Results can be expected to be out from March, 2018 onwards on the official website of MH CET.

MH CET 2018 Exam Dates

MH CET is parent exam for entrance exams such as MHT CET, MAH MBA CET, MH CET Law and MAH MCA CET. DTE Maharashtra heads all 4 exams under the name of MH CET. Candidates must go through the important dates for MH CET 2018 exam given below:

MHT CET 2018

Admission to Engineering, Health Sciences and Pharmacy courses will be done on the basis of MHT CET 2018. As per previous years’ schedule the application form will be available in March, 2018.

Candidates must have completed their class 12 examinations in order to appear for MHT CET 2018. The exam is expected to be commenced in second week of May, 2018.

MHT CET 2018 Eligibility

MHT CET 2018 Eligibility conditions are given below. All the aspirants are requested to go through them and read all the instructions before applying for MHT CET 2018.

Nationality

Candidates must be a national of India to be eligible to apply for MHT CET 2018.

Age limit

For admission to MHT CET 2018, there is no age bar set by the authorities.

Academic Qualification

Candidates must have passed High School Examination/ 12th Standard examination or its equivalent examination.

Application process for MHT CET 2018

The online application procedure for MHT CET 2018 will commence in the 1st week of March, 2018 till last week of March, 2018. The application procedure for MHT CET 2018 is as follows:

  • Go to the official website of MHT CET and look for ‘Registration’ link.
  • Fill the details required for online form including personal and academic details.
  • After successful registration, upload scanned copy of the Passport size photograph and signature in given dimensions.
  • Next, download the MHT CET 2018 Bank Challan and visit the nearest SBI Bank within 48 hours.
  • Once the application status is updated, download it and take a photocopy of the MHT CET 2018 Application Form.

Instructions for uploading photograph and signatures

  • Recent passport size coloured photograph with light background must be uploaded and file size for the same should be 50 kb or less.
  • The signatures must be scanned on a white paper with black ink. The signatures must not be in capital letters with file size of less than or equal to 50 kb.

MHT CET 2018 Application Fee

The application fee for MHT CET 2018 is INR 860 (for open candidates) and INR 660 for reservation category candidates. The admission fee can be paid through bank challan only which must be taken to the nearest SBI Bank within 48 hours. Candidates are advised to secure a copy of Bank Challan along with the complete MHT CET 2018 Application Form.

The admit card will be available to be downloaded from the official website of MHT CET. Once the application process has been done completely, the admit card can be obtained easily.

MHT CET 2018 Exam Center

The exam centers for MHT CET 2018 exam will be in the following cities:  Mumbai, Mumbai Sub Urban, Thane, Palghar, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurga, Jalgaon, Dhule, Nandurbar, Nashik, Ahmednagar, Pune, Satara, Sangli, Kolhapur, Solapur, Aurangabad, Jalna, Beed, Osmanabad, Nanded, Parbhani, Latur, Hingoli, Buldhana, Akola, Washim, Amravati, Yavatmal, Wardha, Nagpur, Bhandara, Gondia, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli.

The exam center to the candidates will be allotted from where they have passed their HSC examination. for those who appeared for HSC exams outside Maharashtra shall appear for the exam in the division or headquarters where they have submitted their MHT CET 2018 Application Form.

MHT CET 2018 Exam Pattern

MHT CET 2018 will comprise of questions asked from qualifying exam subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. The paper will be for 3 hours’ duration for total 200 marks.

MHT CET 2018 Result and Counselling

MHT CET 2018 results are declared in the first week of June every year. Candidates must download their results from the online portal by visiting the official website of MHT CET.

The counselling procedure and seat allotment shall begin thereafter through Centralized Allotment Process. An online form will be filled by the candidates regarding their choices and according to the marks secured by them in MHT CET 2018, candidates will be allotted the seats.

The preparation of merit list will be on the basis of marks secured by candidates in MHT CET 2018. Candidates will be required to fill their choices in the online form according to their preference, on the basis of which, candidates will be allowed to sit for MHT CET Counselling.

Counselling process will include Document Verification, Demand Draft of part payment of non-refundable fees, Choice filling, choice locking, and allotment of seat and admission confirmation.

MAH MBA CET 2018

Candidates wishing to get admission to MBA courses offered at various institutes of Maharashtra state must appear for MAH MBA CET 2018 in 1st week of March, 2018. Candidates will have to apply online for MAH MBA CET 2018 from 2nd week of February, 2018. The candidates will be considered eligible if they fulfill the following criteria:

  • Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks.
  • Candidates who have appeared for MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2018/CAT (conducted by IIMs)/ GMAT(conducted by GMAC, USA)/ CMAT 2018(Conducted by AICTE)/MAT(conducted by AIMA)/ XAT (conducted by XLRI)/ ATMA (conducted by AIMS) are considered to be eligible for admission against the All India Seats subject to the fulfillment of eligibility criteria.

The application process will begin from 2nd week of February for admission to MBA course through MAH MBA CET 2018 exam. Candidates will have to first go through the registration process, for which steps have been mentioned below:

  • Go to the official website of MH CET and click on “Apply online”.
  • Click on “new registration” and enter your personal and academic details.
  • Next, upload the scanned copy of Photograph and Signatures
  • After submission of information and documents, candidates will have to proceed to the online payment gateway pay INR 1000 (INR 800 for reserved category candidates) through credit card/debit card or net banking.
  • Click on ‘submit’ and obtain the e-receipt for future reference.

Instructions for Scanned Documents

  • Recent passport size coloured photograph with light background must be uploaded and file size for the same should be 50 kb or less.
  • The signatures must be scanned on a white paper with black ink. The signatures must not be in capital letters with file size of less than or equal to 50 kb.

MAH MBA CET 2018 Admit Card

MAH MBA CET 2018 Admit Cards will be available from 1st week of March, 2018 onwards. Candidates who have completed the registration process successfully will have to visit the official website to obtain the admit card. Candidates must enter valid details and check the information printed on the MAH MBA CET 2018 Admit Card.

MAH MBA CET 2018 Exam Pattern

MAH MBA CET is conducted for 2 hours and 30 minutes. The questions are asked from four sections namely, Logical Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability/ Reading Comprehension. The exam is of 200 marks and has a total of 200 multiple choice questions.  There will not be any deduction for incorrect responses.

MAH MBA CET 2018 Results

The results for this exam will be out in last week of March, 2018 (tentatively). Candidates will have to download the results from official website by entering registration number and password/DOB.

MAH MBA CET 2018 Counselling

The counselling procedure will be held through Centralized Allotment Process, carried out by authorities of State of Maharashtra. Candidates will have to check the official website from time to time to be updated with the status of merit list and allotment process.

Candidates whose names are mentioned in the merit list will be required to fill Preference form which will be made available from the regional centre allotted to the candidate. Candidates without preference forms will not be allowed to sit for counselling. The Counselling Process includes Document Verification, Demand Draft of part payment of non-refundable fees, Choice filling, choice locking, and allotment of seat and admission confirmation.


MH CET Law 2018

The admission to law courses offered by the government institutions of Maharashtra state is done on the basis of MH CET Law test. The exam helps candidates to get admitted to five year integrated programmes as well. The application process for MH CET Law begins a little later i.e. in the month of May. The test is conducted through online mode only and the questions posed are of objective nature.

MH CET Law 2018 Eligibility

For 5 year integrated LLB programme

  • Candidate must have completed 10+2 examinations with minimum 45% aggregate marks.
  • Candidate must be below 18 years of age.

For 3 year LLB programme

  • Candidate must have completed graduation or post-graduation with minimum 45% aggregate marks.
  • Lower age limit is 20 years.

MH CET Law 2018 Application Process

Candidates can apply for MH CET Law 2018 from second week of May, 2018. The online portal will be open till last week of May, 2018. Exam is scheduled in month of June, 2018. The other details are as follows:

MAH MCA CET 2018

MAH MCA CET 2018 will be conducted by State Common Cell of Maharashtra to offer admission to eligible candidates to various government colleges for first year or lateral second year of the MCA program.

The eligibility conditions for this program are:

  • Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent from a recognized university in India.
  • Mathematics is a compulsory subject either in 10+2 examination or Graduation.

MAH MCA CET 2018 Application Process

MAH MCA CET 2018 exam is scheduled to be conducted in June 2018. The application process for this exam will be commenced trough online mode. the application forms can be obtained from last week of February, 2018.

The registration process will include following steps:

  • Go to the official website of MH CET and click on “Apply online”.
  • Click on “new registration” and enter your personal and academic details.
  • Next, upload the scanned copy of Photograph and Signatures within given dimensions.
  • After submission of information and documents, candidates will have to proceed to the online payment gateway pay INR 750 (INR 550 for reserved category candidates) through credit card/debit card or net banking.
  • Click on ‘submit’ and obtain the e-receipt for future reference.

MAH MCA CET 2018 Admit Card

An admit card is a necessary document that must be carried to the exam center to be qualified to sit for the examination. the admit cards for MAH MCA CET 2018 will be available from 3rd week of March, 2018 onwards, which can be download from the official website of DTE Maharashtra.

MAH MCA CET 2018 Exam Pattern

For MH MCA-CET 2018, results will be made available to candidates from 2nd week of April, 2018. Candidates can download the results from official website. Admission to MCA colleges under MAH MCA-CET will be based on Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) which is carried out by the Competent Authority of the State of Maharashtra.

  • MAH-MCA CET 2018 score will be considered for preparing the merit list. 
  • Candidates whose names are mentioned in the merit list will be required to fill Preference form that will be made available from the regional centre allotted to the candidate. Candidates without preference forms will not be allowed to sit for counselling.
  • The Counselling Process includes Document Verification, Demand Draft of part payment of non-refundable fees, Choice filling, choice locking, and allotment of seat and admission confirmation.

for pharmacy or engineering is this compulsory to give jee mains as per all india quota ....or only cet is the path to get admission in state

Hi Abhijit, For All India quota seats JEE Main is necessary, However, for state quota seats, it is up to state exam/counseling authority to accept JEE Main or State CET scores.
