MAH CET 2018 Merit List

Based on the scores obtained in MAH CET, candidates are assigned ranks and are shortlisted on the basis of this rank for admissions into the institutes. Thus, a merit list is prepared and candidates who feature in this merit list are eligible for completing admission process.

The merit list is declared in two stages.

Provisional Merit List

Provisional merit list is usually declared as soon MAH CET 2018 counselling ends. This list is announced tentatively in last week of May 2018 or in 1st week of June 2018. The Provisional merit list does not confirm admission of candidates, they must wait for the final merit list to be declared.

Final Merit List

After due consideration of the results of DTE MBA counselling, final merit list is prepared and announced at the end of June 2018. Only candidates who are a part of this list are shortlisted for admissions to various colleges.

Merit list is based on the ranks obtained by candidates seeking admissions under Maharashtra State Seats, All India Seats and Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Seats. In the event that two candidates have the same overall score and percentile, the priority sequence, while preparing the merit list is as given below.

This is the order of preference if in case candidates aspiring to get admissions under the Maharashtra State Seats category get the same score and percentile in MAH CET 2018:

  • Candidate who has the higher percentage of marks in the 10+2 Board exam (any recognized HSC board exam) will be placed higher in MAH CET merit list.
  • Percentage of marks obtained in class 10 Board exams (any recognized board) will be considered.
  • Candidate having the higher percentage of marks in the tenth board exams will be given higher preference.
  • Date of birth of candidates is taken into consideration, the older candidate is given preference.

MAH CET 2018 Cut Off

Cut Off plays an important role in determining whether or not, candidate can get a seat in the desired institution. A knowledge of the previous years’ cut off will enable candidate to plan the counselling in an informed and better way.

  • Highest percentile of 99.99 in MAH CET 2017 has been awarded to all 11 candidates who have scored marks between 136 to 145.
  • The highest score is lower than last year.
