KMAT KERALA 2017 RESULT & COUNSELLING

KMAT Kerala Result 2017 is released on April 17, 2017. It was announced on the official website of ASC (Admission Supervisory Committee, Kerala). It is the supervising committee of the exam. The results and scorecards are displayed in pdf format only.
Kerala Management Aptitude Test also known as KMAT Kerala is state level exam for admission to Management colleges across Kerala. MG University (Mahatma Gandhi University) under the supervision of Admission Supervisory Committee will organize phase 2 KMAT Kerala 2017. The first phase of KMAT Kerala 2017was held on November 06, 2016. It was conducted at 7 centers spread across several districts of Kerala.
Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their KMAT Kerala rank for GDPI (Group discussion and Interview) round. Candidates can download KMAT Kerala Scorecard in May 2017. ASC has also stipulated KMAT Kerala Cutoff for different categories. The final rank list would be based on the cumulative performance of candidates in written test, group discussion and interview.
The result for KMAT Kerala is uploaded on the official site of ASC. The total aggregate marks of Kerala KMAT is 720 and candidates must obtain the requisite qualifying marks in KMAT Kerala 2017. The result indicates the total marks obtained by a candidate as well as score obtained individually in all 4 sections. Candidates can also check their KMAT Kerala Rank in the result list.
KMAT Kerala 2017 Result can be downloaded from the official website by following the steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website i.e. asckerala.org
Step 2: Scroll Down and Click on Result tab.
Step 3: After clicking on the tab. Scroll down and you will see a link ‘KMAT Kerala 2017 MBA Result Declaration’.
Step 4: Click on the link and a pdf format file will appear. KMAT results will appear in the form of a list.
Candidates must possess KMAT Kerala Scorecard for applying to participating colleges. The document has to be retained and produced during the admission procedure. The score card of KMAT Kerala will be available online from May 2017. The examination authority will not entertain any request to issue scorecard past the date that will be available shortly.
The score card for KMAT 2017 can only be downloaded online. Candidates may follow the below-mentioned steps to check their KMAT Kerala 2017 Scorecard:
Step 1: Visit the official website i.e. http://lbscentre.in/kmat2017/
Step 2: Click on “Get Scorecard”
Step 3: Enter the login credentials i.e., Roll Number and Date of Birth
Step 4: Click on “Download Score Card (PDF)”
Step 5: View the details and download the pdf file.
Cutoff determines the eligibility criteria for a student. Candidates appearing for KMAT Kerala 2017 must obtain the minimum cutoff score in order to qualify the examination. They can then apply for admission into participating management colleges as well as other autonomous management colleges in Kerala. The qualifying score would be applicable for this academic session only.

Note:It must be noted that KMAT Kerala does not consider rounding off of marks obtained in the examination. Score of 98.9 shall remain 98.9 and not treated as 99. A candidate who scores 107.9 shall remain unqualified to take part in admission procedure of the MBA program.
As per the directive laid down by Admission Supervisory Committee (ASC), the ratio adopted during the final procedure with the above mentioned cut off marks shall be 80:10:10 for the entrance exam, group discussion and interview respectively.
There is no centralized counselling process for KMAT Kerala. The participating institutes will conduct their individual selection process. However, institutes must adhere to the weightage ratio as mentioned above during admission procedure. All the candidates must have to apply for admission to individual colleges/institutions.
Apart from the KMAT Kerala score, colleges will also consider the scores of CMAT (Common Management Admission Test) and CAT (Common Admission Test). The qualifying cutoff marks for CAT and CMAT would be at par with the qualifying cut off marks of KMAT Kerala, as mentioned above.
