KMAT Kerala 2018 Result

KMAT Kerala 2018 Result & Rank have been declared on February 15, 2018. The result is available at official website i.e. kmatkerala.in in PDF format.   • For SEBC category, the qualifying cut off marks is 10% of 720 marks, i.e., 72 marks.
  • For SC/ST category, the qualifying cut off marks is 7.5 % of 720 marks, i.e., 54 marks. Check KMAT Kerala Cut off
  • The scorecard for KMAT Kerala February will be available in the website kmatkerala.in, from February 20, 2018 till the closing of MBA admissions on August 1, 2018.
  • Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their result obtained in KMAT Kerala 2018.
  • The result will take into consideration the rank for GD and PI (Group discussion and Interview) rounds.
  • The final rank list would be based on the cumulative performance of candidates in written test, group discussion and personal interview and weightage for each will be given according to the ASC guidelines.

Admission Supervisory Committee (ASC) Conducts the Kerala Management Aptitude Test also known as KMAT Kerala. It is a state level exam for admission to Management colleges across Kerala. MG University (Mahatma Gandhi University) under the supervision of Admission Supervisory Committee organizes KMAT Kerala in two phases. The first phase of KMAT Kerala 2018 will be held in the first week of November, 2017. It will be conducted at several centers spread across several districts of Kerala. The 2nd phase of the exam will be conducted in April 2018.


How to Check KMAT Kerala 2018 Result?

KMAT Kerala 2018 Result will be uploaded on the official website of ASC. The total aggregate marks of KMAT Kerala 2018 will be 720 and candidates must obtain the minimum qualifying marks as specified in ASC guidelines to be eligible for the admission process. The result will contain the total marks obtained by a candidate as well as score obtained individually in all 4 sections of the paper. Candidates will also be able to check their KMAT Kerala Rank in the result list.

KMAT Kerala 2018 Cut Off

KMAT Kerala 2018 Cut Off is the score that determines the eligibility of a student for admission process. Candidates appearing for KMAT Kerala 2018 must get the minimum cutoff score in order to qualify for the admission process. They can only apply for admission into participating management colleges as well as other autonomous management colleges in Kerala if they have successfully managed to get the cut off score. The qualifying score would be applicable for the academic session 2018-19 only and candidates will have to take the exam again next year.

The cut off is different for each category. The category-wise KMAT Kerala Cut Off scores needed for MBA admissions for the year 2018 is given below in the table. The cut off has been prepared by keeping previous year trends in mind:

Candidates must note that KMAT Kerala does not consider and apply rounding off of scores obtained in the examination. If a candidate has received a score of 98.9 his/ her score will remain as 98.9 and not be rounded off to 99. If a candidate scores 107.9, he/ she will not qualify to take part in admission procedure of the MBA program as it will not be rounded off to 108.


KMAT Kerala 2018 Counselling

Admission Supervisory Committee (ASC) has laid down a few directives on which the admission through KMAT Kerala 2018 has to take place. As per ASC guidelines, the ratio adopted during the final procedure with the above mentioned cut off marks will have to be 80:10:10 for the entrance exam, group discussion and personal interview rounds respectively.

There is no centralized counselling process for KMAT Kerala. The participating institutes will conduct their individual counselling and selection process. However, institutes will have to follow and stick to the weightage ratio as mentioned above during their individual admission process. All candidates seeking admission to the various colleges will have to apply for admission to individual colleges and institutions directly with their KMAT Kerala scorecards.

Apart from KMAT Kerala score, colleges will also consider the scores of CMAT (Common Management Admission Test) and CAT (Common Admission Test) as given below:
